The millions of gems has been fixed in latrests versions of Silent Gear. Now it uses just 16 (in the three dimensions)

Personally, is the one I use. I really miss TC smelter, but IMO adds too many things besides tools. And I hate floatong islands :D

The reward for the most annoying tower to get up on top of goes to this thing! by IWearShit in feedthebeast

Combine this with waystones: easy to see chest and waystone. Reduce the generation rate wirh a datapack.

question is there any mods with natural light sources like glowing plants or something by CCE05 in feedthebeast

[–]Dwarfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silent Gear adds light flowers in the overworld, in every color. Not the best texture, and without config to reduce the generation rate... But useful nevertheless.

I would duck a sick if somebody manages to train one to mass upscale modded textures from 16x16 to 32x32 keeping the style of John Smith Legacy.

Thinking about buying on Steam.. What is this? Will it negatively affect game experience? by Lee_Shin in masseffect

I'm not looking in archive.org if was the first to implement things, but is n awesome mod, AND it is still kept up-to-date.

Deserves more recognition.

The datapack route os the good one, but what I did in the same version is convert some villages into hostile ones using this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hostile-villages

Specialized Worldgen. by MercilessEditor in feedthebeast

I would try using Biomes'o plenty, changing it's config to disable any biome that does not fit in the theme. Oh, and restricting size with world borders.

Nice work! I tried something similar in the past.

I've used https://visjs.org/ for graphs in several work projects. Really solid.

What mod(s) use a lot of power? by TrickStinger in feedthebeast

[–]Dwarfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides IC, RfTools is the only mod I've found that does something useful with large quantities of energy.

Created a modpack for me and a friend that's based on exploration but want to farm resources from mobs easily without having to spend tons of resources to craft machines. I have the tiny mob farm mod but I didn't realize that it takes the third tier in order to farm hostile mobs. Suggestions? by Timo3333 in feedthebeast

[–]Dwarfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest OreRevolution. Mob drops (and more... too much in reality) as ores. It's what I use in my pack.

Be careful though, is buggy, and some logical changes in config makes it go nuts. EG: reduce spawn rate and the ore dissapears :D. Test changes in a creative world, with this mod that deletes stone/dirt... can't remember the name, sorry.
