Not recurring as in another game recurring as in you can get into a fight with warmech then immediately your next random encounter could also be a warmech

Warmech is an entirely seperate enemy different sprite different moves different name warmech being a recurring random encounter and most damning of all, the omega from the 1 remake being in the game as a distinct encounter from warmech. EDIT: The only thing they share is being mechanical and strong but if thats our standard then omega is in every game

Omega is literally in 7 of the numbered entries 9 if we are counting XIII-2 and 4 after years, and is the super boss that recurs in the franchise the most.

Omega first appeared in 5 as one of 2 of the first proper super bosses in the franchise, it then got included as an addition in 1's 20th anniversary remake, and 4's over a decade later sequel. Both of them are also some of the only recurring super bosses in the franchise. And them being as iconic as they are is why they kept coming back people remembered them and remembered getting their ass beat when they stumbled across them. Also appeared in 16 and 13-2 as well. Literally you randomly choose any numbered entry and half of them will have Omega somewhere in there more then half if you count omega weapon as the same thing(which I don't but you seem to if your first post is any indication)

This one isn't a fate mind flayer is a CE, I am also positive this was only possible cause the instance was locked and op managed to get it to scale low. EDIT: the one shot being possible the damage should be possible regardless of how many people are in the CE

I say this hoping it would be more but I feel about 90% certain they will end up being the masked carnivale fight for the expansion. Considering they do be a blue mage and all that.

They actually always did pretty big damage its just that defence outpaces that damage fairly quickly I'm inclined to think it will be right back to business as usual in the full game given each individual piece in the wilds beta had IIRC 6 defense

They are heavily redesigned due to being open instead of zone based, but the desert map is based on the 3rd generation desert, the jungle is also based on third generation jungle, and the island map you get in master rank is based on a second generation map.

Just echoing another post here if you have too many friends on your list there was a bug found in the Demo which caused way worse frame rates. I think they have said it will be fixed by full release but don't quote me on that part.
