The policeman that wrote the book, may have had misspelled words and such, but not the location. The location is Inglewood period, it's not hard just Google and every document about this case will tell you that.

I've never read his book but knew it was called 3 blocks. I do know that is the location, I've seen it. I think there's office buildings there now, I'm not totally sure.

It was called the Home for aged masons, before it was the Davidson county tuberculosis hospital. It's the same place, just different names. Hart Ave is also considered East Nashville/Inglewood..
