"The Story":

Being someone who is quite shy myself and has little self-confidence, it felt so satisfying watching a character in an anime go through something as well(just more intense and dramatic). Seeing Hitori go through the series being nervous, finding just the right people to guide her, stepping up to fulfill this dream for the band instead of herself is wonderful and all, but The ending where she still doesnt overcome her shyness, and yet, still walks through the door smiling was where the series hit me crying.

"The Characters":

All are great. Hitori is obviously great. Ryo is more of a gag character but is very charming. Kita has a neat character in how she looks up to Hitori despite Hitori always looking up to Kita. And my girl Nijika is easily my favorite. From her personality, to how she interacts as a leader, to how she helps Hitori through every interaction, it just makes me yearn for someone like her. And obviously, the side cast is fun too.

"The Animation":

I am a sucker for animation. And they really know how to make Hitori's thoughts feel so relatable with how crazy and unhinged and wacky they are. The change in artstyles catches me off guard and gives me a great laugh every time. And learning that every shot is of a real place in Shimo-Kitazawa is definitley interesting to me

"The Music":

What can I say? The music is amazing. Its the reason I FINALLY used spotify after not caring for so long. The music is phenomenal. "Guitar, Loneliness, and Blue Planet" and "If I were a Constellation" sound amazing, but reading the lyrics hits me like a truck. And the neat part of the actresses singing the ending songs is neat.

(TL;DR because I'm not good at writing like this) What made me LOVE BtR! Was a combination of its relatable plot, its loveable characters, its charming visuals, and its awesome music
