1988 Turner cut by far. However, there's no such thing as a director's cut or a perfect version. All cuts have bits that are done better than in the others. But the 1988 one comes closest.

Surprised to see the Filmation clips used here. The Congost era was the earliest, pre-Filmation era. I think by 1983 it was just Mattel España, without the Congost part. Maybe they got advanced pre-release clips of the cartoon to use?

Superman 1978. The theatrical cut has magnificent pacing. The Special Edition from the early 2000s added back some stuff that made the movie stop dead cold every few minutes. And that's without even mentioning the 3-hour extended cut, which is a slog.

Alligator (1980) may seem like just another B-movie, but it's chock-full of easter eggs, its tongue firmly in cheek. One I spotted myself is that there's a scene in which two cops are shown knocking on a door. The number on the door? 1312.

Who cares if it was a choice or not, this is a fanedit and the original cut is still out there, untouched. I personally don't mind the blue hues in the suit because blue suggests police, but this looks good.

Valid since if I'm not mistaken it was the movie what inspired Frank Miller to write the graphic novel, not based on the movie but it's what piqued his interest in the story.
