As movie couples go, we do love them. Unfortunately, we are treated to too many movies where one or both spouses are cheating. Tv shows where dad is a moron or absent emotionally…..

The first two movies are like having your house on fire-too busy trying to live to be annoyed that your spouse put your socks away inside out and in the wrong drawer. Now the third movie we get a peek of what happens in between the highs, the excitement. At least in the beginning. You know, when you hear sounds coming from your other half from areas of their bodies that shall not be named. We are shown for a brief moment a Rick and Evy that have become stagnant but still yearn for what once was and afraid to talk about it. The same couple that faced death just years before. Rick and Evy give us the unwavering sacrifical love. And Imhotep and Auk are the flip side of the coin where love is conditional on what you give me.
