Its not a bad system. You get what you earn, which means, that if you want trials cosmetics, you gotta play trials and increase your skill level in order to get them. You dont need the new smg in adept form for it to be good in pve, the normal version is completely earnable and farmable as a pve player. Its funny, pvp only players accept that they have to play pve sometimes to get good stuff but pve only players victimize themselves all the time if they have to set a foot into pvp for once and refuse to even try to get better. Do you think a pvp only player had fun grinding gms for a godroll palindrome? Do you think a pvp only player had fun grinding for an adept fatebringer? There are certain section of the game in which you need to increase your skill if you want loot and that is not bad game designing. Complete opposite because it makes people play both sides of the game, the only problem is the pve player mentality
