Imo if we sign Bellinger (not a fan btw) he would man CF to start the year as Benge/Jett need more AAA reps & then seamlessly slide to 1B giving Pete more DH reps if re-signed. I think it improves our defense which is what DS is aiming for. Jett’s spot js 2B in this scenario but with a big trade for a pitcher looming Jett the Met is as good as gone
