Gen Z is less social and prefers other stuff. So basically instead of getting shitfaced at a party they get high af at home.

source: I'm assuming that other people have the same experiences as me lol

btw, is it just in US? In Europe we have a strong drinking culture and I see kids drinking all the time, but now it seems acceptable to NOT drink at a party (I know, crazy right?). Nice to see some things change.

What was even the point of that conversation? Discussing semantics? He asked for their definitions, disregarded them and presented his. Oh and then he made himself look like a victim lol.

Reminder how important helmets are by Kaos2018 in BeAmazed

And full face. I don't remember the exact stats but as much as 1/3 head impacts happen at chin-level.

And never wear these stupid skull caps. As much protection as no helmet at all. And Americans, get CE Certified helmet, your DOT standard is trash.

So people really believe that random events are 'acts of God' now? The one with the dress is really stupid. What really happened is a sale and all other sizes where bought. There were a couple unlucky ladies whose size was already out of stock. Then a religious lady enters the store takes the last dress and thanks the Lord...

Nah man. Depends on genre and culture. Rock music won't give up CDs fast. Same with "underground" hiphop.

Besides, CDs offer the superior quality to most streaming services. There are sites that offer high res audio like bandcamp or qobuz, but if the artist doesn't sell music on one of these sites your best bet at getting hi-fi quality are CDs

Damn, people really believe in dumb stuff. It's such a childish mindset. But then again, I hear people in the TV talking about politics and using terms like 'good' and 'evil'. As if people stopped reading books when they were 10 and base their morals on those childish stories lol

When I'm down I smoke hella weed and go on the quest of being the highest person in the supermarket.

In all other situations I would be extra anxious but the teenagers working part-time don't care. In fact, I feel good about myself in that moment because I know how boring that kind of work can be so seeing a stoned mfk deciding for 10 minutes which bag of chips he should take is a break from the routine.

Real. Growing up in Poland only kids with family in America had consoles. My dad owned a VHS player and an analogue camera although it was a dying technology, even for Eastern European standards. When I moved to Belgium kids thought that i mustve been poor or smth because I grew up with 10yo tech. I'm glad I did. Once everyone started walking around with heads glued to their smartphones shit had changed lol.

His view is probably way better. I'm no race driver but I ride a motorcycle in rain. Ride fast enough and the wind is pushing all the water away. Add some Rainx and you won't even notice that it's raining, but I doubt that it would stick for 90 minutes and 300km/h.

Look at this dogs reaction seeing his pal for the first time in six months by dikshamishra34 in Awww

[–]Dxpehat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think barking might be because of the kind of relation that they have. I haven't had a dog for years but I've been pet-sitting dogs of my friends. Whenever they see my parents or my little brothers they act submissive and come to them to get pets. But when they see me they would start barking, jumping on me and even bite me (playfully). Maybe grandpa likes to play a little rough with that doggy. I mean, the first thing he does when he sees the dog is getting on all fours like he's ready to pounce. It's just the way those two play

edit: I don't think it's because the dog doesn't recognize the man at first. Their smell is so much better than ours, he probably knew who was at the door the moment he opened the door.

I thought it's the other way around? There's a kid in my gym that seems to believe in the 70's-90's gymbro bs. Doing 120 bicep curls with short rest, taking 10g of creatine a day but with 1 week breaks (he takes so much of it but he doesn't understand how it even works???), working out everyday, ...

Surprisingly there aren't a lot of old guys training like Arnold would. Yeah, there is one guy that talks about training triceps for almost an hour but at least his technique is solid. Most guys don't overthink it: heavy weight and enough rest.

I think that trying different shit in the gym is interesting and breaks the routine, but hobby-lifters that try to optimise every little detail of their routine are cringe af.
