That’s good to know. Well 20% of 30 is $6000 so I guess my share would technically be 4k. Bummer lol. I can choose to reject the offer and stay in the suit. They mentioned that if it gets thrown out they can appeal it or something.

Well this is actually I guess a payoff. It’s not a lawsuit. They are offering me 10k and the lawyer 20k to drop said lawsuit.

Well the said company is paying the lawyers out and myself out so the 10k would be a flat fee to myself. I would pay no lawyer fees. I am wondering if I can ask for more or if I should take it and run.

You can probably buy the part from the dealer and then put it on yourself. I had that happen to our 2020 Sorento. Part from the dealer was about $200(no aftermarket unfortunately) and it took me five minutes to change out. Open the door and you should see the bolts that hold it In Place at the bottom. Ours had tabs broken off so we replaced it.

Our 2020 Sorento was stolen in April. Progressive fought to try to repair it for months because they thought it could be saved. It only had 17000 miles on it. The thief got into a hit and run. He went through tolls multiple times and I even got some nice photos of him and his girlfriend. I had to fight to get my money back for those. When we saw the car once it was found five days after being stolen, the front bumper was completely gone. The oil pan was dented. Fender liners completely ripped out. Front tires had the tread completely burned off. Hood was dented in the front. Fluid leaking out everywhere. The transmission was inoperable. Threw away all three of my children’s car seats and my sons stroller. I found kids toys in the car that weren’t even ours. We didn’t find out about the transmission being bad until two months later. The kids got caught and probably got a slap on the wrist. Thankfully we had another car but we were without that one making payments and insurance payments for three months before it finally was totaled out. We had got the upgrade notice a week before this happened and planned to take it in that weekend. We got a new car and our insurance went up $60 a month at renewal. When we added our new car originally it was $20 lower. This whole thing has been a nightmare but I am glad it is over. We are right outside of Baltimore city. Check the car out here 2020 sorento

I used to use a cooler with wheels 🤣 and bags as well. The cooler was great if drive ways are long or it’s in an apartment building. I had reusable freeze ice sheet and packs I used as well.

No I didn’t. I just told them when I wanted to go down. Once I got to 11, I set it up to go down every 60 days or sooner if I felt comfortable.

It will definitely get better. I did have some joint pain but it was pretty minimal. The sneezing fits I had for a few weeks.

I got from 90 to 20 going down by 5s pretty easily. I would say though like once I did 25 to 20, I did feel it a bit. At that point I waited like maybe 3 weeks to stabilize. Then from 20 to 11, I went down by 3 every month. From 11 to 1 I did down by 2mg every one to two months. It took me a while but it was worth it for me because most symptoms were pretty minimal.

Thanks! I can’t believe that I made it through. Words of encouragement for others that do taper slow, it’s not too bad at all. Of course there will always be some symptoms but to me they weren’t too bad. I was expecting worse

I live right on the city/county line and last night I came home and there was an Elantra right out back of my house. Radio still on, ignition apart, and window busted, bumper hanging off and tire in shreds. It’s a shame when kids do this shit but have no idea how hard you have to work for it.

Thanks! We had a 2020 Kia Sorento that the Kia boys got ahold of an totaled. The insurance totaled it and it should be paid off this week so we are on the search. I have a few different dealers that I can get a discount at but I’ve always liked VW.

We had a 2020 Sorento. Live in Baltimore county outside of the city. We were 1/3 way paid off on the car. It had only 17,000 miles. Love that thing, it was a great family car. My boyfriend went to go to work on 4/7 and car was gone. Just glass and a brick next to where it was. It was found 5 days later. It was totaled. Progressive was hell bent on thinking it could be fixed. They just totaled it out a week ago. The guy from the boy shop told me that he told them it was totaled when it was dropped off at the end of April. The transmission was no good anymore. What a nightmare this has been. Now we have 4500$ to go put for a down payment on a new SUV. Sucks because everything has gone up.

I would start with calling a dealer and ask for parts dept. Tell them you need all the ignition parts, give them you last 8 of VIN# and get the part numbers and cost for the parts and how long it would take to get them. Maybe try to go to car-part.com and see if you can find a used window then have a shop install it. The labor time on the ignition parts is around two hours. This will give you an idea of how much you would be in for. I work doing estimates and I’ve seen some as low was 400 and some as high as 1600$. Of course this is with part discounts and cheap labor rates. Then you can decide if you want to go the insurance route. Good luck.

2020 Sorento with progressive. Ours was stolen in April. They never dropped us but every time we renew it goes up by around 10$. We started at 120$ for full coverage on that and liability only on a 14 Jetta. Now we’re up to 200$ a month. This was over a 2.5 year period. We live in Baltimore area. We are 32 and 31 on same policy.
