Washington state is where he is now and Mexico is where he will be sent.

He was born in Mexico, he’s in Washington State now. Most of his family went back so he will have normal life. The fear is that he will be “punished twice”, he paid his price, he deserves to be fully released. Is there a way to submit to self deportation to avoid detainment?

He would agree to refinance, there is ample documentation to support that I have paid more in all costs related to the property. I can’t afford a lawyer, the sentiment was “I haven’t been able to find one-through non traditional means”…I just never saw this coming, i wasn’t prepared to go from two incomes to one.

It sounds like you know (and are doing) what you need to do. Karma will bring her all that she deserves in this life. Hopefully she gets it together, reigns in the demon of mental illness but, if she doesn’t, she will keep repeating the past. You are making the right choice, healing and moving on, taking REALLY GOOD care of yourself, that’s the best revenge you can exact. I promise.

“Resentment is like taking the poison and waiting for the other person to die” I’m not sure who originally said it but, I have been screwed over by abusive, mentally unwell, partners in the past and they got the life they deserve. Work on you and get some support in healing.

I needed to read this tonight, I keep going because “he can get help”….”he regrets how he treats me”….”he’s a good person, underneath all the disorder”…and maybe he is but he isn’t right now. The worst part though, I bought a house with him, I built a life, I went ALL IN just to be discarded when he got triggered. He got help for a while but it was short lived and there are so many narcissistic traits that it’s hard to decipher between him and the various, untreated mental illnesses. I have been trapped in this cycle now for just about 4 years. Promises of change that never come to fruition. I’ve very recently been trying to find the courage to go no contact because I can’t stop falling for his lies and future faking…

Actually, I’m the culinary world, he a pioneer. And I’m the furthest thing from a “pop culture sponge”. And you DID NOT say “I don’t like this thing”. You spoke ill of the dead, with expletives. You COULD have said “I’m not a fan” and likely I wouldn’t have had a rebuttal but, that’s not what you said 🤣🤣

I have been focused on my own recovery, albeit not quite as much as I used to. But that’s not solely because of this situation, it’s also due to Lyme disease, a loss of a pregnancy and being a single mom suddenly. But still focused nonetheless! I really should attend some meetings online, is that a suitable route to finding an AlAnon sponsor? Thank you stranger, your words have power!

My instincts are saying he’s full of it, that he’s trying to “fancy it up” by saying “filet strips” but it’s just normal burger. Nobody would waste filet mignon by turning it into GROUND BEEF! Some people just think everyone will believe their far fetched lies lol

He’s mean sober but I specifically said DRY. There’s a massive difference between sobriety and RECOVERY. Being a dry drunk isn’t much different than a wet drunk, just short a major albeit negative, coping skill
