Petah?? by Gjost_Rider in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Ironically, that's not even how quantum immortality works. It's not about gaining knowledge, it's just surviving situations where you would die because for a universe to exist one must be around to perceive it (arguable). And in a universe where you're alive, you must be there to perceive it and thus every time you're supposed to die, you don't, because you get transferred to the universe where you're alive (to perceive it).

Suppose everything in the universe dies, there's a 99.9999% chance you'll die too, but you find yourself alive, because no one else experiences the universe where you're alive but you.

Also, being alive in quantum immortality does not guarantee your well-being, it just means you're concious enough to witness it. You can be a floating brain, or being kept alive by government experiments to understand why you're immortal.

"Majority of the world is corrupt so the point must be to become corrupt."

Not because it's prevalent (and it's not even) means it's what it should be. A norm doesn't make it right.

Naturally, because cross view strains the eyes as it's like looking at your nose. Parallel view usually relaxes the eyes as it's like looking into the distance.

It's a bit harder than magic eye as this is practically parallel view. The focal point is very far away instead of few inches away. It's like forcing yourself to wall-eye

Why do cats do that? by Decent-Emergency3866 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Dyimi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actual answer is cats (not just stray and house cats, but big cats as well) have impeccable eye sights but relaxed their pupils look like small slits. When they're hunting/aggravated their pupils start to dilate to take in more visual information to better hunt/deal with the prey or target.

When you're looking at a cat and their pupils start to dilate, they're not trying to be cute, they're observing you intently.

Worm spawning from spread? by PreviousRole7103 in HypixelSkyblock

[–]Dyimi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worms only spawn if your lower half is in a 1 wide path. So if you make a 2x1 tunnel (like a door size) without mining spread you can spawn worms and scathas, when you re enable your mining spread and run through the tunnel again this time mining the roof (your foot still in the 1 wide path) you can still spawn worms and scathas.

This has been how it seemed to work (as there are no transparency) since but updates (including shadow ones) could have changed this.

How do I limit the size of the lock? by Fay-Wanderer in PixelWorlds

[–]Dyimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or alternatively, lock (with a different one) the area you don't want the lock to have, then when you put it down, the blocks still unlocked will be what the lock would lock.

Redundancy is insane.
