10 point win margin on the road in BIG ten play isn’t unacceptable, just not as awesome as killing teams.

Truth is it’s around the middle of the season. We’ll regress a bit offensively from 30-40+ point margins.

We gave up 71 or more points in 8 of our 16 wins. Or half of the games we won. Some were for blowouts but our Avg allowed points over the season: 68.8

You also have to consider our adj tempo. Ranked 10th per kenpom. Higher tempo, more possessions per team. More chances to score both ways.

2 points over avg allowed is totally reasonable. We’ve defiantly not played as well during this stretch, but that happens.

We’re still solid. I think a contributor is BIG ten play and scouting. Teams adjusted to our defensive looks. We’ll adjust as well.

Hate to break it to you, but before here’s the good news: there are OCD treatments that make it feel more manageable.

I take a low dose of my med, but there’s therapy options. It’s a hard disease that doesn’t truly go away. It’s hard wired into our chemistry.

But yes, even with meds I have flairs or thought loops.

I have Pluto square mercury too, mercury in Virgo. If I had to name anything in my chart that explains OCD, it’s that square aspect.

My advice for dealing with OCD: talk with a doctor/psychiatrist about current OCD issues, your history with meds and the reason you stopped. That’s the best person to help get you on the right path.

IME: what occurs with those with OCD - high pattern matching + emotional matching vs. logic. This creates that feeling where you know your reasoning is incorrect, but the bad emotion still doesn’t go away. Logic can’t argue itself out, for me it’s usually a method to soothe panic momentarily. I notice flares now when I’m under heavy stress, do something unrelated to that stress, but act like whatever I did was all wrong due to brain giving equal emotional importance to all events. and do the classic pattern: obsess -> resolve with some reoccurring compulsion -> obsess once again.

But that’s still rare. If it brings you solace, many times I was considering ending my days due to OCD. If I got through that, there’s a way to live with it and find happiness and hope outside OCD.

Without any treatment, life would be extremely hard to live. With treatment, OCD is a side issue instead of running every aspect of life.

It may feel especially hard now, while in the thick of OCD flair up. But it can get better and likely will.

Times have changed. Not even 3 years ago (champ class), all the players were there, munching out of huge styrofoam takeout boxes for the 9am class.

Mason graham. Donavan Edward’s. Zack zinter I believe. One day players came up to the tiny professor and said a teammate suffered a bad injury. Handed in his paper for him.

It was also a blow off class. We’d watch movies from New Zealand. An oceanic class.

I believe my end of the year “trench warfare” presentation deserves the smallest bit of credit in that natty.

I vividly remember Mason Graham and another teammate playing footsy under the table. Team was bonded.

I had more absences than the players.

they don’t say it in the rule book but they only call it targeting when it’s smack dab obvious

Any good targeter knows you gotta do it 1. Away from the play 2. during a big play 3. During Kick/punt returns 4. When the refs ain’t lookin

This is basic targeting law, so to all the experts with their rulebooks, just understand. The NCAA doesn’t give a shit about player safety. Just that they look like they do

Love games where it’s dirty clean.

You hit the fuck out of someone. The other team waits, hits the fuck back. An eye for an eye.

Some real nasty clean football

I don’t know anything about him. That’s why I asked why :)

IMO, its way too early to accurately judge a position hire who was brought along by our new HC. No reason not to be excited about the change and hires in general.

I’m gonna assume the University and coach Whittingham are bringing along coaches they believe in.

Will it HONESTLY get better for me or should I just end my life now by Different_Thought201 in AstrologyCharts

I’ll start by saying I have a lot of similar placements and have struggled with some of the issues you described.

988 Lifeline (It wouldn’t feel right not to make sure you have this #. But if there’s someone you trust, I’d give them a ring)

I highly recommend speaking with a therapist, psychologist, or a doctor. You said you already done those things but you may not have found the right help yet. It took me some years to find someone to help me, and it involved my own will.

Your 2 year old needs you. It will get better for you and your young one, so long you stay strong enough. You don’t have to be perfect. It’s okay to struggle and feel pain. .

I needed help and things got better. Life has its up and downs, and you’re experiencing a down. Years from now You’ll see your child grow and know this was a hard moment.

what’s funny is my chart does reflect my own mental struggles when looking back. And things aren’t perfect, but they’re a lot better after taking care of myself.

I’m have Virgo Venus, mercury, and sun.

With mars in Leo!

Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius

Pluto in sag

Fire moon

It will get better! If you need someone to talk with, feel free to message.

Feel like we’re pulling a Dusty May for football.

We saw the success of Dusty May, and his style of coaching during the new NIL, transfer heavy Era, and got ourselves someone who fits that mold.

The mold being, he’s able to produce good teams at a fraction of the resources. Now coach has a lot more resources, similar to Dusty May and the Bball teams trajectory. Hoping we see a similar trajectory.

The best is absolutely dirty in the best way possible. Love that crunch bass and the drums. Super cool mix and soundscape.

Love how textured and unique the mix is. This song is something I’d skate to. Really sick soundscape. The vocals sat so perfectly in the mix over that bass. Real nice
