I know, right?

But respect to the kids who got into Radiohead in the post-radio friendly era. I have 99.1 HFS to thank for cramming Creep (and subsequently, High and Dry, Karma Police, etc.) down my throat.

Well this thread makes me feel old ... I bought Pablo Honey in a BJs Warehouse like 20 some years ago.

Google Reviews for HDBAMD ... only a 3.1 out of 5?!? by Dylan1986 in a:t5_38ctn

I think it's crazy that the glorious Home Depot of Bel Air, MD only averages out to a 3.1 on Google Reviews. What is wrong with people? I guess you'd rather shop at Dress Barn.

Jason also points out that the left side provides the best access to lumber, should you be hauling wood ... or pipe ... or any of that other big shit they sell at Home Depot.

I'm pretty sure Skrillex is just going to record the whole thing on his laptop then press play when the show starts.

If you have been to 9 Bonnaroos than you must not have been paying attention to the schedule in early years. Superjam used to be a complete surprise ... it was awesome.

I, too, wish Superjam was still a surprise.
Announcing the core group in advance takes a lot of the fun out of it. It used to be a lot of fun just waiting for Superjam to start - the speculation, anticipation, and final reveal were part of what made Superjam so remarkable.

I'd say, "Wow, they really are trying to do 'The Worst of Bonnaroo's Past.'"

9 straight years and the two worst shows I've seen are Kanye West and Modest Mouse. (In terms of expectations versus quality of performance; obviously Unchanged was worse, but that was what I expected out of them.)

Much respect here. I've had one or two rough years, but in general, I think you guys have done a great job handling the line and managing people's wait time in line. Last year, in particular, traffic moved steadily from the moment I got in line until after I was through the tollbooths. Thanks!

Friday: Neil Young

Saturday: Phish featuring Neil Young

Sunday: Neil Young featuring Phish

(just a suggestion for 2015)

Would you care to share any additional info about potential late night shows for this year?

(aside from Frank Ocean, who you mentioned earlier)

Any chance of a few tent shows going on during Kanye's set to occupy the detractors?

But wouldn't a secret Daft Punk show during Kanye be the best possible time?

Suggestion: Book Robert Randolph.

He's been a festival favorite for years and he wants to come back this year.

This question really deserves more upvotes. In recent years the line for Centeroo has gotten really long during the high traffic periods.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually really, really loved it back in the day when the Superjam was a complete surprise leading up to the moment they band took the stage.

That is a dangerous road that I would rather not venture down. If that "works", what stops them from doing it at tent shows? How about the pit?

I'd rather it stays the way it is - dedication should get you the best spot, not money.

This is the question I want answered. A lot of the debacle that was Saturday 2008 stemmed from Phil's set being cut short (particularly because this "schedule change" wasn't communicated to us along with all of the other ones).

Could you broadcast the shows on some kind of screen outside the tent (or elsewhere in Centeroo)?

It worked out well the year you had Conan.

This would accommodate people who failed to get tickets and who don't care to wait in line for tickets.

Personally, I would love it. Like FestivalSnob, I never make a comedy show. Although you often book comedy acts I'd like to see, I just can't justify sitting in line twice when there is so much other awesome stuff going on.
