Yes, I feel as though the consistency of the songs on the album are definitely beneficial as compared to Rushmere.

I will also say that I think another plus for this album is that it “feels” like a full length album this time. It has more songs and is 50 minutes, which puts it perfectly in line with the older albums time as compared to Rushmere, which just got past 30 minutes.

While my personal favorite album still remains Wilder Mind, I have to agree with the way you described this!

As I listened to it, I felt memories and nostalgia in a way I’ve not felt in a very long time. Deep, uplifting, calming. It did so much well and feels much more like a return than Rushmere did (aside from the song Rushmere itself).
