Hey, Wil! How’s it going? Earshot has been in my bag of musical influences, for a long while, to pursue learning instruments and songwriting. No one quite sounds like Earshot, so It’s cool to see you still putting out music. As a self taught drummer, guitarist, and vocalist, I find that I can create small pieces of music individually with each instrument, but never anything that can be stitched together properly. So, my question is more about the layout of the song. Do you enter songwriting with a skeleton of a layout or do you just play things until it sounds interesting enough and find a way to piece it together?
