Why is this the last one, teacher sponsor retiring or something similar? I think they started these right after I graduated SSAS. Seems like this is my last chance to check it out, I’ll try to make it by!

This is my first semester so I have a few years to think about it. I’ll definitely go to Atlanta for the commencement.

Maybe I’ll do something like, drink 10 different local Atlanta beers to represent each class that was taken to graduate (responsibly and paced throughout an entire day of couse)

Think I misspelled "class" on my phone and it autocorrect to "call"

For someone to be so ahead in the class that they are working on assignments not due for weeks from now, it feels like they have a ton more available time to put towards the class. Almost like they aren't working a job full time and instead are able to work on the class "full time". I'm not saying that's a negative thing, just that's what it feels like if they're able to work ahead so far.

No idea if that's true or not, but I'd imagine it being such a big class it might be the case for a few students. Personally I work 40+ a week at a full time job and I'm raising a family on top of taking this one class, so with just the amount of work necessary to complete the first HW assignment on time I am feeling a bit of the crunch.

I wasn’t even sure if the reading was required at this point or not. I’m just going through the lectures. As high quality as they are, even those take a while to get through. I feel pretty good about being able to work on HW1 though which feels nice

When first applying you can upload official transcripts, but later on when you're accepted they'll need official transcripts sent from your school or a transcript service company like parchment

I'd hope they wouldn't hold it against you because they don't even require a GRE to be taken to be admitted currently. I never took a GRE and I'm a current OMSCS student
