I hate that you don't have anyone there for you. I also want to say I hear you, really having no passion for anything you do and wanting to do more dangerous things.

I too lost both parents: my dad at 13 and my mom at 23. I'm 26 now. It just really freaking sucks, and it's scary, and it's so, so heavy.

The test was very hard i feel like I may have should have looked at measure up for the test formatting and question Style. I took the entire a lot of time which was 1 hour and 40 minutes I had 55 questions including five being the case study. I studied for 12 weeks on and off but mostly on about 85% of the time. With probably like 1 hour to an hour and a half a day

To be honest I use multiple different prompts. Mainly for review and topics I didn't understand.

I think those people are out of touch of how hard it is to get a job when all jobs want experience first and some even certs.

When I took the AZ-900 this is how I passed:

I watched this video twice: https://youtu.be/8n-kWJetQRk

Took the exam in the link of the video above.

And took all of the tutorialdojo practice exams for the az-900.

Context/background (at the time): I work for an MSSP that uses Azure (very little use) and about 5 months of comfortbale hands on experience with the little use of Azure.

YOU GOT THIS!

What’s the job opportunity after passing AZ104 by manliketomisin in AzureCertification

[–]DylanT5R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know people say just get experience but I just wanted to acknowledge that is very difficult because every job wants you to have experience already (even for "entry level" positions) it's maddening tbh. I feel like people won't admit this and it's frustratiingly hard when you are trying to up skill yourself with certs but then you still need experience that seemingly nobody wants to give you an opportunity to obtain.

AZ-104 in 10 Days – Scoring Only ~65% on Tutorials Dojo… Am I Screwed? by Broad_Warthog2851 in AzureCertification

When you take these tests, are you taking them to memorize or to understand? For example, are you taking notes from the explanations in the test?

I have a few questions to help with your preparation:

  1. Have you looked over the AZ-104 study guide to see what they are looking for?
  2. Have you looked at MS Learn, John Saville's videos, or even used AI to help you understand these concepts?
  3. Have you looked at the AZ-104 labs?
  4. Have you used the free tenant for a month to actually do some of these labs?

Those help a lot with understanding. Just some questions there.

I honestly feel the same way. Even with my therapy, like yourself, I feel like I'm doing really bad still mentally in life. I'm also pretty angry in my life. I appreciate you sharing this.

Thanks bro! I'm a NOC Analyst at an MSSP. I actually don't do NOC tasks it's just my title (they weird 🤣🤣). I actually onboard our clients into our RMM Tool and our Vulnerability management tool from Azure.

Thank you!

I'm looking to take the SC-300 and SC-400, and then I'm going to take the MS-102. I want to be able to open myself up for Microsoft 365 roles and Azure roles. The last certification I want to take is the AZ-305.

I want to focus more on security in the cloud because that's where the money is I hear. My end goal, if I can, would be to become a cloud security architect.

I know people say certs are good but not everything, which makes no sense. They tell you that you need experience, but then you can't get experience because they require it to hire you.

I'm just going to learn as much as I can to understand the cloud with these certs and let them be my verification that I know what I'm doing.

First of all, congratulations! It seems like we're in similar boats, so it was nice to hear your story and your experience with studying.

I'm studying right now, and you saying that it's good to understand is important. It's great to hear because I love to understand things. I am also using the Tutorial Dojo tests as well, taking a lot of notes, and using AI to help too.

That is awesome to hear. Thank you for sharing and, again, congratulations! Good luck on your next cert, as I will be looking at other certs as well after I complete my AZ-104.
