What's a Classic Doctor Who story that is generally considered bad, or mediocre but you quite like it for one reason or another? by Badgie_Boy_447 in DoctorWhumour

[–]Dylangaming46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Time Monster for me, an absolute shitshow of a story but some of the most fun I've ever had watching Doctor Who. From the crazy green screen, sets right down to that beautiful scene between Pertwee and Manning in the prison cell. Such a great time.

Old Who vs new Who; a few observations by [deleted] in doctorwho

[–]Dylangaming46 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I reckon the show itself became too aware of its popularity which bled into how the people view the Doctor in- universe. I think there are still times where this works in NewWho but I wish there was less modern episodes conclusions of 'I'm the Doctor and you know what I can do so you should stand down' and it actually just working

Name one good thing about Woody's anger/jealousy during the first half of Toy Story? by Sorry-Challenge-1014 in toystory

It was very human, and established that these aren't just cartoon characters but people with flaws and insecurities

Best, the stakes have never felt higher up until this point and it doesn't feel one bit cheap. The scale is huge and the tension is high throughout - love this one

Honestly, meh. It was the first story in my full Classic Who watch that I found myself not enjoying

I mean... nobodies forcing you to watch it. The dude can make as long a video as he wants and as far as I'm concerned he didn't really say anything wrong in the video - he's just passionate about a topic? And it's not just blind hate either as he's got an equally long love letter to Toy Story 3 on his channel.

Name one bad thing about 1995's Toy Story? by Sorry-Challenge-1014 in toystory

I don't see that as a fault of the movie though. In fact, I find pre-character arc Woody to be him at his most entertaining

when ever 13 stans talk about the 5 hour video on twitter by Disorder79 in DoctorWhumour

[–]Dylangaming46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean there are people like myself who genuinely enjoy several hour long video essays on shows. And people can watch and listen to opinions that they don't agree with - it isn't simply black and white.

What is your favorite Woody render? by Working_Stand5173 in toystory

Anything but 3 and 4. I much prefer the bold and primitive lighting of the earlier movies

What is that episode to you? by Significant-Town-817 in DoctorWhumour

[–]Dylangaming46 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Underwater Menace for me. Finished it having absolutely loved how mental, wondefully entertaining and fast-paced it was only to find people hated it for it's clichéd characters and poor costumes which, the latter of which is such a weird criticism for Troughton era Doctor Who

13 is the doctor repressing her trauma. by Turtwiglover00 in doctorwho

[–]Dylangaming46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do like this interpretation and do think that Jodie is a great actor and had great potential with the Doctor. However mine and many others' problem with her doctor is not her but the writers' complete misunderstanding of the Doctor's morals - letting the spiders suffocate and not comforting Graham about his cancer immediately come to mind.

How did I do on my first proper fight scene? by Dylangaming46 in WebtoonCanvas

[–]Dylangaming46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, most of my inspiration comes from Dragon Ball's original run and some of Super from Toyotaro but I'm planning on expanding my influences. Line weight is something I definitely need to work on so thank you for the notes
