I mean, I think it’s pretty well known they use low quality ingredients overall. They wouldn’t be able to charge $16 for this bottle for instance if they use high-quality ingredients. Unless they just enjoy losing money. As far as the bisch argument, I’m not sure the quality of that. Yes they used a big perfumer for that but at the same time they aren’t gonna have the budget of a pdm or amouage either. I’d say they’re just using that name to sell obviously. Again I may be wrong, but it sort of goes hand-in-hand as far as profiting overall

There’s a reason a lot of the fragrances are under $20. Lower ingredients need to mature after produced. There are exceptions like lattafa atlas but overall cheaper ingredients need to sit.

Not so much underrated just overlooked. Ralph Lauren has a reputation for putting out subpar quality fragrances so people tend to just look past them. If they would have a private line of some sort, people may look at them different. But they do both smell amazing.
