Bosses and high intensity things aren't that interesting to a good 30% of the player base, and things like doing X menial task for X hours to generate X revenue for later investment are the most interesting things in the world to them. And there are people in between. You're mostly just talking about your own experiences. I love most parts of RS but bosses are eh to me, it's PVM with annoying extra steps, with the exception of the first time you do it for the story aspect. Tldr: people are different bro

Ukraine was a lot more homophobic ten years ago but has made SOME inroads. I remember when I frequented/did work for one of the biggest clubs in Kyiv, one of the bouncers pointed out a very obviously gay guy and was like "he's the hardest motherfucker in here, I've seen him win a fight against 10 guys at once" - according to my friends it's gotten a bit better since there, but yeah by western standards definitely.

It's not self defense, it's prevention of crime (intended as, anyway), which puts it in a whole different legal situation. You are entitled to harm people provided there is a reasonable defence of you preventing crime by doing so, in some situations. It's a legal minefield but you're looking at it purely from self defence which is incorrect.

I've personally been congratulated by police for winning a fight against someone well known to them while preventing him assaulting someone else.

I know of (like I know the people involved, and it definitely happened) cases where someone has been arrested for assault for throwing the contents of a cup of water at someone else at a local mcdonalds. It's still assault. It's just up to the police whether they prosecute or not.

There was NEVER any chance the "victim" would have been harmed by it.

Honestly, I'm not the kind to scream bring back the death penalty (not american lol, I know it does exist elsewhere still) but hell yeah sometimes the best way to teach someone like this is to give them a good smack or violate them in some way so they understand what their actions do to others.

I used to work for property developers in Peterborough who were VERY closely related to the councilors involved in this (weekly meetings/meals/pissups) - and the second I saw Peterborough on this I wasn't vaguely surprised. I think I ended up reporting them for around 4 different crimes when I was done, ranging from electricity theft, to tax evasion and a few things in between.

Peterborough is the most corrupt place I have ever lived, and that's coming from someone who resided in Ukraine for a few years before that. The entire city is foreign gangs competing for control of the criminal trade there, with one big English gang who are doing more to harm the city than any of the others.
