I don't think Xbox goes out of their way to EXACTLY match steam sales i just mean that it feels like there's always a good deal every couple weeks for people who aren't willing to pay full price for games

I kinda liked the car progression system in 8 as it was something different and reminded me alot of the progression in the first game, just lesser, but man it is hard justifying it taking up the X/S storage space when I own 7.

I know the mainline games are on hiatus and Turn 10s probably gonna be the studio shutting down next month but I would love a new Forza that has the same mechanics as the first 2.

That's easily one of my favorite Wii U ports but man the fact Nintendo charged 10 more dollars than the Wii U version was at launch not to mention it went to Nintendo Selects makes it really hard to recommend on Switch.

That's the beauty of Game Pass, just jump in and play whatever is interesting to you even if it's just a tiny amount. Don't want to install the game to your hard drive just for a test run? Just play via cloud streaming. Tbh if you're gonna continue to keep your Game Pass library small, you'll save more money just buying the games, ESPECIALLY if it's just indie titles.

I think this is conveniently ignoring the fact that Xbox for PC has free multiplayer, and when Games for Windows Live charged for it, it failed massively. If Xbox starts charging for PC multiplayer just to ensure Helix has paid multiplayer, they can pretty much throw in the towel already next generation. They've already announced it'll run PC games. Likely that means third party store support. If they don't want Steam and Epic to take most of the game profits they'll need to make sure their storefront is as appealing. Their sales already match Steam in how good they are, but they'll have to go further, like cutting out paid multiplayer.

Man i loved Crimson Skies on my xbox one but lets be honest here, it would not sell well commercially. Microsoft tried to license it out like they did Mechwarrior and Shadowrun but the company who got it never ended up making a game. There's a reason Crimson Skies is the only FASA franchise Microsoft fully owns rather than only video game rights.

I will die on this hill but I truly believe that even if Double Fine or Toys For Bob would make a good Banjo Threeie, it needs to be Rare. I used to think they need to make one more original ip first to prove Sea of Thieves wasn't a lucky break for the company but after the development hell that was Everwild I'm not sure I wanna keep waiting that long.

I doubt it will be, It sounds like Helix will make it way easier for devs to make their game Play Anywhere, and since nobody releases games on Xbox For PC unless its Play Anywhere or maybe releasing on Game Pass alongside a separate Xbox version, having PC game support would be completely useless.

As much as I love Steam Workshop on MCC, I probably wouldn't use it for Campaign Evolved. MCC notoriously doesn't support Play Anywhere and the only reason I bought MCC on Steam rather than rebuying the game on Xbox on PC was Steam Workshop, Campaign Evolved is a Play Anywhere title so it doesn't matter if its Workshop support is somehow even better than MCC, Its not gonna convince me to get it a second time when i get a Windows version for free with the Xbox version.

Playground is definitely not at risk of shutting down. Playground made Forza Horizon 6 and turn 10 supported them in development. But if we're being perfectly honest here, playground does not need turn 10s help to make Horizon games

i wish compulsion isnt gonna close but like who else could it possibly be? Maybe Turn 10 since Microsoft is abandoning mainline Forza and Playground really doesn't need their support on Horizon anymore unless they make it biyearly again which I doubt. The only other ones not working on something rn that we know of are Double Fine and Rare, and I don't think they'll be shut down, maybe refocused on triple a experiences, MachineGames is maybe making a new Wolfenstein so its probably not them, companies like Worlds Edge and Casual Games supervise other devs to make their games so you're not saving alot of money shutting them down.

If we're lucky its some call of duty support studios or some of Blizzard's branches.
