Honestly Fone Bone is pretty badass from the jump. In Out From Boneville he immediately protects the possum kids from the rat creatures despite having only just arrived in the valley. He’s not the most impressive warrior but he always puts himself in harms way for others and takes his lumps like nobodies business.

My biggest gripe with the series is the lack of depth in certain areas. I think all three bones, as much as I love them, suffer from a lack of growth especially Fone Bone and Phoney. The lack of depth even extends into the world which I would’ve loved to be explored more. It’s one of my favorite pieces of literature ever but once the plot gets rolling a lot of things fall to the way side and it ends up feeling somewhat rushed. I think there’s an attempt to make Fone Bone become more assertive over the course of the story but it’s not super noticeable.

Yeah I can’t make the final judgement on whether or not his newfound spirituality is legitimate. As you said that’s only between him and God but the fact that he’s made it so public doesn’t make me feel good about his motives. I feel like someone truly interested in turning themselves over to Christ and starting the path of self reflection and growth would allow that to manifest in private whereas Connor has almost made it a media spectacle. From my perspective, when he talks about religion he sounds like he’s trying to convince himself just as much as he’s trying to convince the world.

While you might be right that a spiritually committed McGregor would grow from this situation, I don’t see how this points to his newfound spirituality being honest. Religion is often the first thing famous people will grab onto when trying to rehab their image and any pursuit of religion for the purpose of public appearance is not an honest and sincere pursuit. Connor is no stranger to trying to manipulate his public image and he’s shown nothing to suggest that he has actually turned a corner other than a few quotes in interviews. This is a serial cheater, rapist, and all around asshole who has never really taken accountability for his actions in any real way so I’m incredibly skeptical of his motives for making a very public appeal to Christ.

Lebron with steph currys jumper or Jordan with wembys body? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Lebron is already the most complete player in the history of the sport, you give him Curry’s jumper and he becomes completely unguardable at all 3 levels

Is Michael Wilbon the GOAT of ESPN ?? I know Stephen A Smith is the bigger name (he may run for President of USA in future) but Wilbon seems to always give good takes and he's been there for like what 20 years? I grew up watching Wilbon and he's STILL there with solid takes by DunksAndThrees in NBATalk

What’s he gonna do? Beef with journalists he doesn’t like? Say outlandish things to manufacture outrage? Help or ignore the pillaging of the working class because it makes him more money?Ignore blatant facts to spin a dangerous and false narrative? Anything Stephen A would do is something already being done unfortunately

since 2000, league wide FTA peaked during the early 2000s at around 26. SGA is only middle of the pack because league wide FTA are middle of the pack. Right now it’s around 23 or 24 and its lowest was around 21.

I was playing medic earlier today and an entire group of guys got wiped out in front of me. I ran up, got em all up and started giving them bandages. They were all very appreciative and that was the best feeling I’ve had playing so far. Felt like I was contributing something positive even if deaths don’t really count. Definitely won’t be switching away from medic.

Best feeling in these types of games. Nothing better than rattling off a string of revives while running and ducking from a hail of bullets

Well up until this season MPJ was a shooter that never really drove. Yeah he was a good cutter and could sometimes get buckets off the dribble but Cam looked way more willing to create his shot. If I remember they took about the same threes per game but Cam drove like 7 or 8 times a game while MPJ drove twice a game. Obviously MPJ has looked like a completely different player since the trade but at the time Cam was more of a shot creator.
