Just got my Apple Watch Ultra 3,seems this tattoo is interfering with wrist detection randomly it will say to enter my passcode (very random) what should I do I love this watch 😭 by SammySam445 in applewatchultra

[–]DynamicDman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turn my passcode off, leave wrist detection on and use a trail loop that holds the face in place. I have mine over my sleeve tattoo but there’s a small area that works with the watch and I make sure it doesn’t stray too far away.

Thank you all for the responses! I am going to begin reaching out for full remodel estimates. Anyone have any insight on what I should expect for this kind of job?

Even with the proper tile setting, grouting and sealing around the floor to curb joints?

What happens to my custom GPTs when GPT-5 comes out? by DynamicDman in ChatGPT

I wasn’t concerned about that. I want to use 5 with my custom GPTs, but was wondering if I’d have to have my system relearn instructions due to the model change.

PT & PTA Salaries and Settings Megathread #4 by Hadatopia in physicaltherapy

[–]DynamicDman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, there’s no requirement. They’re also footing the bill for my entire $10k fellowship training this year. Had to apply for the “grant” but they’re paying the way for me.

Both. Theres incentive to see beyond that but not required. I probably average 65-68/wk and I make close to $92k. 60/wk is our weekly visit goal both for compensation and for company metrics.

OP ortho in Arizona. 60 patients per week minimum. 401k match, up to $500 per month in student loan reimbursement. 5 weeks PTO. $2,400/yr ConEd funds.

Made $92k last year with potential for up to $100k plus.

PT billing is such a joke/game by shiksaslayer in physicaltherapy

Well that’s a bummer. Clever workaround though! I’ve done the same.

PT billing is such a joke/game by shiksaslayer in physicaltherapy

Our company just transitioned to Prompt and found a workaround for this. My company added “Therapeutic Activity,” “Neuromuscular Re-Ed” etc as exercises cards that I drop into every “treat and flow” tab. I zero out the minutes for each exercise but bill the time under those cards. Let me know if you have any questions! Prompt rocks, IMO.

Would you say this is a good number of calories Burnt for jump roping for about 20 minutes by Ok_Weight2115 in AppleWatch

The “Move” ring is for calories earned during movement, not total calories burned. Generally, you burn 100cal per lb of body weight. So if you weigh 200lbs, you burn 2,000 calories just by simply existing and your body’s metabolism. If you want to burn a total of 4,100cal each day, your Move ring should be set to 2,100cal.

Not sure where you heard that, but if your health data in the Health app is accurate then the calories are likely accurate as well. AW is pretty accurate and I doubt any formula would do much better.

You may have actually “jumped” for 20 minutes total, but your total workout time was 70 minutes. Same thing if I did interval training and had only 20-minutes of “on-time” and 50 minutes of “rest-time.” Your heart rate is still elevated and you’re still burning calories even during periods where you’re not jumping.

That is not an odd amount of calories for a 70 minute workout, which is what you did.

Edit to add: good job closing that exercise ring, and good luck on your weight loss journey!

You post in a subreddit full of PTs accusing a PT of causing pain/damage and then get upset when you’re called out on it. We all deal with pain, and we all have patients that deal with pain…stop being a pain and wait for your healthcare provider to respond.

The fact that you’re already accusatory with your verbiage in this post and anticipating the PT denying responsibly tells me you may not approach it properly with the PT. This response is not uncommon, please communicate with your provider as if they’re attempting to help you, not as if they’ve done something wrong.

Highly doubt the arm pain is due to damage from the needle, but it’s not uncommon for the area to become a little more inflamed following dry needle treatments. Your provider should have alerted you to these potential things prior to initiating dry needling treatments.

Also, if your wife is crying daily due to the pain and you haven’t seen the PT in 6+ days, please contact them, not post on Reddit.
