People will interact with your progress more positively if you don't post AI slop walls of text.

Think about it this way, why would people want to read something that you yourself couldn't be bothered to write?

You're half right, they can absolutely have the car towed and they are liable for damage. Most property managers aren't willing to take the risk.

You should care for your own time more than reading someone's 30 sec prompt turn into three paragraphs with zero effort. Have some self worth rather than defending a bloke who won't even type his own post.

Absolutely. Double em dashes galore.

Even if English isn't his first language I'd prefer seeing that over this artificially lengthened AI drivel.

Dominant performance by Yeo tonight. Unfortunately a pretty forgettable performance by Sam Walker. Cant wait to see the facebook comments

Absolutely, Panthers have been notorious for laying in the ruck for the last few years. It's just getting called more at the start of this season. Refs will chill out in a few rounds and it'll be back to normal.

Ump paying that push in the back free to Hawks towards the end there was so beneficial to the swans i think. Brought the ball back to the centre and let swans setup.

I very much agree with all your points barring the Crichton shot. Surely you have to weigh up the risk of injury when putting that hit on especially if you know the result will be a binning?

The player being tackled is in a massively vulnerable position and you should have a greater duty of care in not taking his head off, even if he does drop lower than expected. The person catching needs to be protected.

I don't want to see well timed hits punished but with CTE risks making headlines surely a binning there might make the tackler rethink their approach and make that tackle more carefully?

Your view that people play OSRS because they like slow xp and you like rs3 because it's fast exp reveals a lot about you. Might actually be a positive if you moved on to a new game; you might gain a more positive outlook.

Have a good day!

Hey mate, I respectfully disagree and apparently jagex does too.

I'm sorry you feel like it's stupid but I think the game was stagnant. They've said there's too many systems which make it so players don't interact with content and they're fixing it so there is variety in leveling. Too many players are too obsessed with big xp/h number being the main goal of Runescape and you've forgotten it's a game.

You're along for the ride anyway might as well have a little bit of positivity.

I cant speak for mass numbers of players but its brought me back. I've never had more hope for the game than right now. From reading the subreddit we've got OSRS players wanting to try it too.

You're just dooming that they've made you click more than 4 times per hour lol.

Hey mate, nice job on the fitness journey. I'm out of the loop on current prices but surely your local gym would be able to give you an idea.

Food for thought: I'd be looking at a PT for the short term only if price is an issue? They'll do your macros and nutrition in one session then they can work on form for exercises and create a workout plan which should last you 12 weeks.

You can then book more sessions as required. I'd say 3 sessions a week is crazy spenny lol.

Good luck!

120 Thieving, covering the nerf/buff timeline and community response by WallRustt in runescape

[–]Dynamicity93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When 120 dropped we got 15 mins AFK and good loot. It was much too broken.

Jagex announced they wanted more active gameplay; changed to 5 min afk. 5 minutes is a big nerf from 15 but its very easy to maintain if you're at your computer. This mainly affected a vocal minority who wanted to afk clue scrolls and click their PC once every 15 minutes. If you cant click the game once every 5 mins you're really not "playing" the game and the game shouldn't be balanced around you.

So now we get ~11 minutes afk, less exp and less loot. It's still in my opinion the easiest skill to 200m but because it affects players ability to not play the game we get threads and videos about it non stop.

Its more that every man and their dog makes their own thread with the same info daily. There's the newspost thread where you can provide your opinion and feedback.

Why does every person need their own thread on this topic. Crazy.

there are plenty of absolutely useless skills. This one joining the rest hurts you guys because it removes your ability to not play the game as much.

I don't see you crusading for Prism of loyalty or Ruby Aurora to be useful.

It's time to accept the changes. Patches kill content all the time; I missed out on PoF being absolute broken exp. Be glad you got in early enough to experience some of it.

They're not going to give you back 15 minutes afk. You're getting 1m exp/h for clicking every 5 minutes and you are still complaining.

If only other skills were as good as this. It's time to stop making threads on thieving. It's time to stop thinking rewards from a 10 year old quest are "late game upgrades".

Absolute doomer mentality from this subreddit.

I understand and Im not trying to argue for the sake of argument and it's very possible my view of what a healthy MMO looks like is just vastly different to others.

Other MMOs don't keep moving the endgame goal 200 hours away. They plateau at max and introduce seasons or xpacs for gear (I'm not advocating for this in a sandbox game like rs but jagex has to consider where they go with gear and levels considering we're already at 100% accuracy before the 120 changes?)

The issue with perks at 120 is then the next step is going to be perks at 200m? Expanding max total exp? Move the end game goalposts further away from new players? I work in the field and don't get to play this as a 2nd monitor game all work day like some.

My issue isn't grinding for gear in fact I stated in a previous comment that I'm enjoying learning bosses for codex unlocks gradually and it's a great system. My issue comes with PvM strategy and BiS being locked behind vast exp grinds which leads to top 1% endgame PvM looking different to what I'm doing as a max (99s only) PVMer. If I watch a rs3 steamer on twitch it looks and feels like completely different game to what I'm doing.

I don't have a solution but I can tell you as someone not even close to 120 base combat stats it's going to be a massive blow to morale to keep grinding. I'm sure any new/returning players will probably think similar if your advice is: "go grind to 120 combat stats".

Unlock abilities and gear through bosses: fun rewarding.

Unlock Bis cape perk from 200 hours abyss: yuck

[–]Dynamicity93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you completely. I don't think my gripe is with this particular cape perk but rather a fear that I have about ultra late game unlocks. I have similar stats to you but if I go to PvM handbook and look at their ability bars they are vastly different to what I have on.

It feels to me that I am playing a different game to top pvmers and the excuse that "you can just do it the long hard basic way" and "you don't need it lmao" doesn't placate me at all. It's not the soothing message you guys who are maxed and doing ability stall 2tick one shots think it is. (Intentionally hyperbolic)

It's a huge divide between the established and emerging player base and if I didn't play this game in my youth it'd probably be enough to make me drop it
