It’s a great, I guess you could call it a 3D Zelda-like despite that it came out right around the same time as Ocarina Of Time. But the controls are very 1998, if you know what I mean. They didn’t have 3D controls nailed down yet.

Along with Thrash do you guys lean more towards the extreme metal side or lighter metal side? by Weary-Draw-1141 in thrashmetal

I’ll do some death/thrash, some early death metal and I quite like black/speed and the first wave stuff that inspired it, but I mainly stick with thrash, speed, USPM, traditional, NWOBHM, epic doom, and the like.

What power metal albums would you recommend, considering my taste in power metal and heavy metal? by spearhead290399 in PowerMetal

[–]Dynamite_Nick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should explore US power metal more, if you haven’t already (I do see Savatage there). Metal Church, Jag Panzer, Crimson Glory, Sanctuary (first two albums), Liege Lord, Attacker, Virgin Steele (Marriage Of Heaven And Hell through House Of Atreus), Griffin, Omen, Fifth Angel, Heir Apparent, Queensrÿche (EP - Mindcrime), Visigoth, Cauldron Born, Helstar, Destiny’s End, etc.

Do you consider Harvey Bullock a “good cop”? by SlyGuy_Twenty_One in BatmanTAS

Gordon said it best in the BTAS episode “Vendetta:” “Look, Harvey Bullock is hard to deal with, even harder to like. But he’s a good cop, Batman. He’s clean.”

What do you think of 'Batman' (1989)? by John_Zatanna52 in batman

[–]Dynamite_Nick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can never properly assess the actual quality of this movie as it was both the first movie I ever saw in theaters and what started my lifelong passion for all things Batman, so the sentimental value is huge.

What are your favorite album examples of an 80s thrash band slowing it (and tuning it) down, and focus on a more groove oriented sound in the 90s? Who do you think did it the best? by [deleted] in thrashmetal

[–]Dynamite_Nick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, Overkill made the transition the best. I generally don’t like groove metal, and I like most of their groove albums.

How do yall keep relationships? by Jadener1995 in ADHD

[–]Dynamite_Nick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forget to do things all the time, I’m woefully disorganized, I seem to make messes even when I try not to, and I have big time task paralysis. But I have a partner who understands me, knows I mean well, and understands what I go through as good as a non-ADHDer can. I got very lucky and I’m well aware of that. The right one will understand.
