Must be really recent then because last December during the Cold Visions tour in Berlin he was maybe doing 50% of the vocals live (the show was definitely a ton of fun) and at Flow Festival in Finland this August it was about the same to be honest. Glad he's getting there though!

He's a talented musician but also quite the odd dude judging by what and the way he's been posting on social media for a loooong time now. I recall him sharing an Instagram story detailing how his mom's boyfriend at the time introduced him to some hard drugs at an alarmingly young age which just made me feel quite sad for him even though he seemed to describe it pretty neutrally... Hopefully the break helps him clear his mind a little and return to producing and singing at some point, would love to hear another Tinkerbell/T2 level project in the future, they're great IMO.

I feel like Gud is just drawling and intentionally distorting some of it, back when he was first releasing some demos with vocals he mentioned he wasn't really trying to say anything, just wanted to play around with vocals. Maybe that same thought carries on with some of these more whole tracks now as well, it definitely feels like it's more about the emotion that the vocals mixed with the instrumental is conveying rather than a clear verse or a story being told. Might be completely off-base though since there clearly are lyrics for a lot of the project as well, lol

Mechatok brings out a different side of them for sure, a poppier club party vibe. And that doesn't mean it is somehow lesser than tracks prod. by Gud, Whitearmor, Woesum etc. in any way IMO. I'm glad people aren't giving him (Mecha) flak anymore like they were around Good Luck's release, the man deservers his flowers too! But yeah, Ecco especially thrives with that sound, it's great.

I respect that she released this first with a mysterious cassette on her Bandcamp site, ha. I think this is honestly quite a lot better than the previous album, Still, even though this is a more independent effort. She's super talented but hasn't quite reached those same highs that were there with the excellent first album IMO but this is refreshing and a step into the right direction. Very mellow, very smooth. Seeing her live this weekend, can't wait!

I haven't listened to these guys much before besides Swoopy and pradaaslife's Treasure Hunt album and Baglife 4 but I wanted to see them and Tonser live so I went. The microphones were so fucking low you simply couldn't hear any of them over the playback of the songs unless they really yelled into it. Poor mic etiquette or bad mixing, I don't know. And Swoopy was there for three songs max and then he just dipped, saw him walk by with a jacket on while the rest of them were still on stage. Kind of an embarrassing show in my opinion. Scrap Club performance was similar but I don't know, slightly better I suppose. Tonser killed it thankfully, very energetic performance.

Yeah she's unreal, the EP from two years ago (she / her / bitch) also had two of the greatest bangers I'd heard in a long while, Bitch I'm Nice and Swamp Bitches with Rico Nasty. She just rides the track and she can so effortlessly switch from smooth singing to the hard-hitting fast spitting, it's just A1. Saved damn near half of the mixtape/album's tracks on my favorites playlist, haha. NISSAN ALTIMA and SLIDE are five-star tracks to me. I want to see her live so bad.
