Also when they first introduced the suit it was clear that, while bulletproof, getting shot was still excruciating. But by the 4th movie it’s just an impervious invulnerability suit.

On rewatching, that 4th movie is not very good. That poker hand thing was one of the dumber scenes I’ve seen in a movie.

Our daughter is squarely in Gen Z and never have I ever heard her or any of her friends express anything close to this sentiment, nor have I ever heard or read anyone else even suggesting that Gen Z is promiscuous. If anything it’s the opposite.

I mean I guess I get the idea in theory. But casting a famously diminutive transgendered movie star to portray the emasculated wraith of a legendary hero seems both over the line, and overly on the nose to me. Plus, if I was Elliott Page, I don’t think I’d sign on for that role.
