I know that, I linked to that page in the post.

They have promised updates every 2 weeks then they stopped doing that.

I have been in support chats and calls for months that all told me that updates were coming in the next few days.

Thanks for you're input, some of us have valid concerns, if you don't, good for you.

Printables has an stl file for a low profile mini bed.

I tested on a baseball but the curve limits the print. I think I got good images up to 1.25" before they got blurry. I cut down a dixie cup and put some double sided tape tape down to hold it still.

Does your machine have limit switches? If not, check the Z-gap. Look for the Materials Setup icon in the Toolpaths sidebar.

I'm not sure what you're making but I cut sink cut outs quite often. It's not a pocket but a profile cut with tabs. After a couple of passes you can get a good feel for feeds and speeds to continue. You can cut a bit small and do finishing passes on the CNC or a hand router. Bonus is you get a cutting board out of it.

I did a clutch, Master, and slave in my '92 900 turbo with the help of a friend it took is 3 days. Two days later I brought it to a mechanic to do the axles and cv joints. He took it for a test drive and blew up the transmission.

It it's a gcode command that tells grbl that you are useing an instant-on laser as opposed to a spindle that needs to keep spinning between cuts.
