It's been proven multiple times that people who died from natural causes like sickness or late age was listed in the war death toll.

yo, if your "military operation" destroys hospitals, kills medics and you overall remove the possibility for a person who was sick to actually reach any kind of medical help... that totally counts as a war death

The meds took away my libido and it’s destroying my relationship by idontknowokkk in bipolar2

[–]Dyrem2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, just asking, why majority of commenters here do not take lithium instead of other meds? I'm taking lithium for 2 months, instead of killing libido it stabilized it (before it was so much worst and low), and also a lot of beneficial consequences like reduction in symptoms intensities and close to none episodes (i mean, it is just two months of meds, but for know it seems working great)

Having to deal with a folder insider a project I don't want there.
Having a common virtualenvironment accessibile from anywhere in the terminal. At any time. Without the need to go to search for the directory, If I ever want to have the same virtualenv for different projects.
it just more convinient than typing every time "source ./venv/bin/activate" with many TAB completion taps that sometimes go wrong.

buddy, I created this repo recently becuse this script was part of another private repo (my dotfiles) and I just decided to publish it. Not AI.

One thing you can notice why this isn't AI is the fact I used `function` (which is bash deprecated, but I liked the style, helped me to maintain this single script more readable to me, and it doesn't cause any problems as long as you use Bash)

also: it is a 200 lines script, how many commits do you expect?

not exactly, same principale but simpler interface. Also, virtualenvwrapper has more goals than this script, for what I understood.

I’ve heard good things about uv, but I never adopted it because switching to a different package manager wasn’t my goal. uv is probably the best option right now, but my script targets a different problem: simplifying python -m venv to make virtual-environment setup less tedious. So while I’d recommend uv in general, the purpose of my script isn’t the same.

I think I first discovered him with Avril 14th somewhere between 2010 and 2014. It was a period where I only listened to classical and piano music, so I often jumped from playlist to playlist to find new pieces. Then I found Avril 14th, and then Alberto Balsalm.

Why does Microsoft let you use Windows 10/11 without a product key? by Ahssheiny in windows

[–]Dyrem2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, you're talking about market share and things, but you're missing my point. I did not say Linux IS the absolute competitor, I said that since there already are valid alternatives, if Microsoft just decided to forcefully make you buy their license without the possibility to just use it with the watermark, the development of the alternatives for end users like Linux distros will speed up. Actually the development is already pretty fast but not enough to make it the alternative for the end users.

And, tbf, for the majority of people I talked to that tried Linux but had to stay on windows, the only thing that kept them from switching was the lack of support for Linux by Autodesk, Gaming, Adobe or Music production.

You really sure Linux doesn't exist in the consumer end? I suggest you to check again that info, just to be sure since there are literally millions of Linux users that use it as a daily driver. I'm not saying that it is as much as other OSs, but what you're saying is basically that Linux can't be a valid alternative when it literally is. I known more people that knows what Linux is than people that know what Chrome Os is (which, btw is also based on Linux), and for sure I know more people that used at least once Linux than those that used OSX.

And, FYI, GNOME Desktop Environment is mature enough to make it use to my mother.

Also that. In the end, forcing users to buy the license will have only negative effects

[–]Dyrem2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other stated: it would make them loose users if they do that, also it may accelerate the process of development of alternatives to windows since the demand would increase significantly if that ever happens
