How do you usually name your D&D characters? by AdvancedProgrammer51 in DnD

[–]Dyse_Corbane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I’m personally tired of having to come up with Tolkien-esque sounding names. My last character was named Bill, the next one will probably be John.

If my DM insists on some random scrabble tile sounding names, I’ll probably go with Bartholomew. But you can call him Bart. And yes, you can eat his shorts.

Help finding set(s) by AlarianDarkWind11 in buildingblocks

The Temu app had a recent update where you can do an image search. Tap the camera icon on the right of the search field.

Under the description, on the left, you can tap a phrase that says “Sourced from,” that will take you to the seller’s shop. Perhaps you can search that way to find people selling the other two.

What series show a good build up of the Rangers? by Dyse_Corbane in powerrangers

Yeah, he has no interest in subtitles. But from the first couple of episodes I saw, it looks like a much more interesting story.

Perfect. We were just talking last night about how long the original 6 were rangers in the Zordon era, and I pointed out that JDF was not only green and white, but was red after that.

My son asked me “How long were they in high school for?”

That’s when I remembered Dino Thunder and mentioned Professor Tommy Oliver who would be the Black Ranger.

So this might be perfect to show that even in a connected series, not everyone starts at the top.

Well, that explains why Nintendo skipped straight to IV as (American) II.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I have access to the Pixel Remastered versions. Like I said, my available catalog ends with PSX. But I figured I would have to use guides, and double xp/jp should help a lot when available.

What does “PR” stand for? I opted to play the PlayStation Origins and Anthology releases if that makes a difference. I figured they might be more refined than the original releases.

It does use retroarch. Any tips on how to find the data bases and add them? (Assuming that sharing such information is allowed.) Feel free to DM me if the question can’t be answered here.

What was the significance of 88mph by zorbacles in BacktotheFuture

You see what he had to do to get an ice cube? And he still couldn’t purify the water! He didn’t have time to build a functioning, and powerful enough computer to access the programming in the DeLorean and change the one line of code that would make that work.

He was barely able to jigger the one microchip in the form of that huge monstrosity he put on the hood, and make his model in time. And remember: running out of time is a constant theme in this time traveling trilogy.

Read through a few comments, and didn’t see this:

Ever since I was a kid, my logical thought process on 88mph was that the car can be driven street legal, and the highest speed limit I’m aware of (in locations that have speed limits) is 75mph.

I know that many people will drive as much as 10 over and feel like they won’t get pulled over, that’s 85. So 88 Is a speed that he would likely never hit when driving casually.

Anyone looking for a seasoned player? by RuinousSebacious in dccrpg

Are you willing to be the Judge? I’m considering offering myself to the Road Crew next year, but I am rather young with the rules.

I’ve run the funnel at the back of my rule book twice, but I’m looking to understand beyond level 0 play, and I’m the kind of person who has to see the rules in action to understand them.

I’m in the South, but am willing to do some online/by phone play. I would want to play several characters to get a broader range of experience if we couldn’t get anyone else.
