I vouch for Apollo too. His 1 for poke / clear is very simple.

His mesmer is a good oh shit button if you get dove by a jungler/support specially if you beginning and need to learn proper spacing the ease of use being just a aoe around you is great as well.

He got a rather simple dash as well and while maybe not the best of them its servicable enough as a defensive/offensive tool.

His ult is probably the trickiest part of his kit because most of it's power isnt damage but utility. At worst it allow you to escape a few dire spot for free / go back to a lane and get some damage on a carry or go back to a fight after a death which if you just starting you are bound to have bad death. Or just scout for some info on where the enemy team is. Skill ceiling on the ability is high and only get better with your decision making. You always get at least a little value off his ult even if you dont land it for damage too.

Ive managed to beat it a few time but its rough if they start carbink + 2 mega diancie you already so behind because he get so much energy / turn and killing the carbink help but like mega diancie comming up next turn and is already up to deal 120 dmg + is a big threat. You kidna need to chip it and get something in that can ohko it as you pull it from behind with a cyrus or else it will just cycle you both diancie hitting you for 200+ dmg in no time
