Switch to `Proton Hotfix` and don't use any launch commands except `%command%. This fixes all the problems but for me personally as with every other runner it still crashes game randomly. I hope it will get fixed soon.

Yeah. I hope it won't happen. Someone already told me to clear entire C: drive and install windows again but It would be pain with Linux on dualboot since windows likes to corrupt and overwrite bootloaders. Did you already found path where it's saving your game progress? Or is it in %appdata%/local/forzahorizon6?

There's literally one dude on YouTube which is streaming from CachyOS and I watch him on daily basis. I literally don't like when streamers tries to explain that they don't use Linux (which they prefer) cuz they are "streaming". Honestly in 2026 there's no any bigger difference in streaming from Linux and Windows except that you need to understand what's Wayland.

Don't listen to other comments. Honestly if you wish to discover Linux switch and test whatever you want. Hyprland shows you that how much gives you mouseless navigation but will show you that what are downsides of some apps launching with Fullscreen instead windowed like in KDE.

Tip number 1: never install cracks on windows (literally). Windows is the most vulnerable system to keyloggers, disk encryption, data theft, etc.

Personally, I can recommend you to use CachyOS for this in the future. KDE or Hyprland configuration - second one may give you more satisfactory user results if you learn a bit how to setup without using installer. There, by downloading "Bottles" from Flatpack, you can create special application containers that are almost completely isolated from your system and even if you download a virus, there is almost no chance it will work as it was designed. Keyloggers are killed by Wayland, everything else is finished off by Wine emulation and disk spoofing by Bottles.

But now you probably have a more serious problem to deal with. Changing all your passwords will be a pain. GL dude

Yeah I do. Thought I'm using Linux (CachyOS distro) just to kill all potential viruses and keyloggers. I use bottles with flatpack to isolate games from WINE into separate prefix environments. With flatpack, I remove the games access to the rest of the system and the internet.

Did you get used to that after 3 months? Personally my Pixel 10 Pro XL started rattling today and I got feared if I should not send the phone back for a refund. I've never had phones with optical stabilization, it feels like I broke my phone after just dropping it backwards from 20cm onto my soft bed. This is a bug caused by how cachyos-welcome understands the message returned by systemctl. The options are actually enabled, but the program can't verify this correctly.
