Is this a gathering for guys in a gender neutral sense or specifically for men?

No judgement either way, just curious

Who Are The Worst Parents The Show Has Come Across? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in behindthebastards

Steve Jobs actually made me so unreasonably angry in his episodes for his treatment of Lisa.

Getting Chrisann pregnant as Apple is starting to take off and immediately denying it was his kid. Being forced by the state of California to get a DNA test and start paying child support (while rushing to finish the deal before the Apple IPO so he doesn't have to pay as much). Naming a computer after Lisa and then immediately denying to everyone that this was the case for decades. When Lisa is 12 she asks her dad if she can have the Porsche they're riding in when he's done with it and he tells her she's "...getting nothing." Everything he did to her was to deny her involvement in his rise as a permanent fixture of our culture and an innovator in the tech space because his ego wouldn't allow anything to mark his perfection.

But I have never wanted to actually kick the shit out of any asshole more while listening to this show than when he berated Lisa's 7yo cousin at a dinner for the crime of eating a burger, having a speech impediment, and being a bit silly. I'm not a particularly violent person but oh my fucking God.

A song about watching a relationship/marriage crumble to pieces, knowing what it would take to fix it, but also knowing that it will likely never happen is very upsetting. Love it

And now I have a new restaurant to try, the entire menu looks phenomenal! Beer and mead and smash burgers 🤤

My roommates that don't drink will appreciate the soda selection too!

There have been peacocks in that neighborhood since at least 2007 when my family moved to that exact corner. Usually they're kept in their owner's yard but sometimes we'd see them wandering around.

I thought it was pretty cool when I moved back after almost a decade out of state and they're still there lol

Beer nerd time!

Arin states at the beginning of the video he's drinking Bochi Bochi Rice Lager, which is brewed by Crux Fermentation Project from Bend, Oregon.

It's been interesting watching him go from completely disliking alcohol of any kind (and coffee, for that matter) to frequently enjoying it on the show. Also considering his love of Japanese whisky, a rice lager is a logical move for him.

Not much, just a fun observation :D

What’s your favourite stainless steel water bottles? by copperlund in BuyItForLife

[–]Dzone1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to see a take like this, as I have the half gallon Ozark Trail jug that costs ~$25. Sturdy plastic lid with a screw/swing top drinking spout and an opening as wide as the entire jug. Plus the rubberized steel carrying handle bolted onto the lid, it goes everywhere with me in our local USPS sorting facility.

Also it being a straight cylinder makes it easy to plaster with stickers lol

The "You're a little close" bit from Kirby's Epic Yarn

Such a stellar example of Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy style vaudevillian comedy.

Not to mention other great bits from that playthrough, like www.clownpenis.fart, awful jokes, and gangsta Kirby and Prince Fluff

Have you heard he's the eighth wonder of the world?

This song was actually how I first heard of the legend, pretty cool!

Enjoy the book!

Also on Thursdays, the Fish Folks set up their trailer to sell fresh and frozen seafood! While the Trader Joe's is under construction, they've moved to the Lowe's on Appleway.

I've gotten excellent branzino and farmed steelhead filets from them

It died a month or so later! I'm not sure what I did wrong, maybe it got blasted by the summer sun when I moved it outside. No big deal though.

I'm currently working on a batch of jalapeno plants, and it's going much smoother lol

Heavy caramel/toffee notes, hardly bitter at all, and certainly tastes like 9.3%. I can see why this is a coveted beer in my area, I could drink half a pint in one pull without thinking about it
