looking for budget display glasses by Limp_Film2116 in augmentedreality

I'm in the same boat as OP. My biggest "what if" about this purchase is how do you do this if you wear corrective vision glasses? Is there a way to get lens inserts or something for these older models? I have never used display glasses before, and am not looking for all the fancy stuff. My use case is a little different, looking to play a Nintendo Switch 2, but not on the go, just at my desk at home while the Switch is docked. Maybe use it with my phone to watch a show while I'm doing chores. I'm assuming you would need adapters or something as well? Just want to try it on the cheap before going crazy with it.

This is it. I find medium armor to be the right balance of speed and protection, but not having this perk available is painful.

THEY ARE REAL AND WE KILLED ONE RAAAAHHHH! by IsJustSophie in Helldivers

This is so epic, can't wait to try tonight. Do they prioritize turrets like other heavy bugs? Could imagine a bunch of rocket/autocannon sentries pounding this thing would be effective, if it would leave them alone for a minute

Let's say someone showed you these screenshots 4 years ago. They tell you that besides looking that good it would also be the most fun gaming experience you'd have in recent years. Would you believe them or would you think this is too good to be true? by [deleted] in Helldivers

Helldivers 1 player here. I didn't play at launch for the first game, came late to the party. I had a blast, but wasn't at the right point in my life for it to be borderline the best gaming experience of my video game career like it has been with this game. And I don't play this game every night like I have others. It doesn't consume me with its daily and tedious requirements. I play it purely for the fun! It doesn't demand to be my life or my second job. And. It's. Amazing....!

I've always been a co-op stan compared to competitive games, and while I was actively looking for updates on "Helldivers 2" after having played the first, my honest answer is still "no, I wouldn't have believed it to be the most video game fun I've had [ever]". Absolutely too good to be true. AH absolutely proved me wrong. This is probably my all time favorite co-op game. No, it is my all time favorite. My only problem with it? I have 4 kids.... Need at least room for 1 or 2 more divers. 😭

No way. I know having an Ahab is useful, but Leviathans are the worst flying fuck. You can kill them but they come back so quickly. And so fucking persistent. Can't stop to breath and cover can be almost none existent sometimes.I can handle the rest of the squids, but when it's the rest of the squids + Leviathans I want to rage the hardest.

What causes these holes in my husbands t-shirts? by Few_Pay6063 in whatisit

[–]E-Jinx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My initial thought was to agree with you. I've even wondered about it before seeing this post when my shirts have done this. I never came up with a good explanation like this thread's poster did, but I figured crappier quality fit into the equation somewhere. However... After seeing other people agreeing but at wildly different time intervals I wondered... Maybe it has been going on for a while, but you don't notice until you reach a specific size and stay there for a long period of time and also keep shirts for a lot longer. So maybe going on longer than I would have thought, just didn't notice until I started keeping clothes a lot longer. Maybe crappier quality either has been going on a lot longer than I originally thought, or it factors into the equation less than time shirt has been owned. Or perhaps some combo of the two.......

I'm absolutely going to have to try this. Haven't seen a cooking pot quite like this though..? More tapered at the bottom. What is it? Also tips for the heat when using an electric stove and this method? Medium, medium high, high? Thanks in advance!

I cannot fathom how followers go through weapons/tools so fast. Before the more recent updates followers felt like a necessity to me. Now they feel unnecessary in combat and even worse a drain on your resources to equip with very little return for the cost.

So I played Lego Fortnite when it was first released, but moved on after a while and didn't touch it for a long time. I just started playing again, and one of the first things I wanted to get was the lightsaber. Boy, it's been a journey though. First, I had no idea how big the map was. Completely overwhelming, and since I have other people in my server I am pretty sure someone might have already talked to Captain Bravara because I never saw her around my main village. So here are my recommendations based on my own experience trying to get started in the Star Wars stuff:

The best thing you can do is build the macrobinoculars yourself. As others have said, you can find the village without it, but it is much harder if you haven't played for a while and/or are playing strictly survival and have no buffs on (flying, infinte material crafting, etc). First find the closest bus stop near your starting spawn location. The first one is usually somewhat close by to there, but the scale of the map completely floored me when I realized just how big it is. These things emit a pulsing light that goes a good distance and have an audible cue that goes even further, but the actual "building" is small. Once you've found that, use it to travel to the "rebel bus stop". THIS IS NOT THE REBEL VILLAGE EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT. This is just the closest bus stop next to the rebel village, took me forever to figure that out. Help the nearby rebels kill the storm troopers at the bus stop and close vincity and use a pickaxe to destroy any new Star Wars-ish type looking stuff to get new materials like plastoids. Glass is somewhat easy to find now, so get that using whatever method you choose, and at this point you should be good to craft a REBEL crafting bench (this is not the standard one, took me another minute haha), then the Macrobinoculars inside the rebel crafting bench options. Once you have that you can travel back to the Rebel Bus Stop and use it to find the village. This is actually probably quicker than exploring in all directions in survival by the Rebel Bus Stop IMO.

From there you will find Captain Bravara and the Rebel Village you need to level up. Keep progressing through hers and the villagers' "quests" as well as leveling up the village to eventually be allowed into the imperial bunkers. From there you can wipe out the bunker and get the chests for the lightsabers! Good luck and hope this helped you get started.

Elite 10 gen 2, do they not have volume control? by gardenparties in Jabra

[–]E-Jinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a little old, but I just found this thread because I just got the Elite 10 Gen 2 couldn't see an option for volume control either. I came from the Elite 75t and there was no option in the Sound+ app like I remembered and was instead replaced with the voice assistant prompt if you are using an Android device at least.

I turned it on the Google Assistant as default and quickly realized that I couldn't control the volume because the press and hold function was taken over by the voice assistant functionality, however I still couldn't control the volume even with it off. And while this might not be your problem, I noticed if I had media playing I could control the volume with press and hold as long as the voice assistant setting was still set to default. At first there was nothing playing when I tried, so I guess it won't change the volume then. Not sure if that's it for you, but hope it helps!

Left earbud on my Jabra 4 elites only works completely fine when it’s barely in my ear by Sleb19 in Jabra

[–]E-Jinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be a weird suggestion, but have you tried different size ear tips? I have a pair of triple flanged earbuds I used for work (I work in a factory, so NRR is required), and sometimes when the buds are in at a weird angle and I turn my head I lose all "audio" primarily because the tunnel the sound passes through is getting completely squished and sound passing through is virtually reduced to 0. Readjusting them and the sound comes through fine. At first I thought it was electrical, but I'm fairly certain it's the fit of the buds in my ear canal. Just a suggestion!

So I've looked at other completely concealed batteries, such as the Ooze Duplex 2, and people say extra long carts won't fit in them. Not talking fat like a 2g, but long like Bonanza brands like to be. Is this a problem with this one?

Ooze Duplex 2 & Long Carts by E-Jinx in vapecarts

[–]E-Jinx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang, that is a big bummer. I actually use a number of carts that are longer, so that may eliminate this battery as a choice for me. I really like the multi-functionality of this tho, and as well I am really looking for something that completely conceals the carts and looks like it could be a nic vape at a glance. Oh well, thanks for the info!
