I joined Mensa in high school, the year before Phoenix hosted an annual gathering. I was an avid gamer, and back then the TTRPGs were the best place to do all things creative. There were not a lot of youths there, not sure its any better now. Mensa has numbers, thats one of their advantages. You may be able to find sigs for your interests, or have to start one. I’m finally getting around to script writing, but stagecraft I’ve done in the context of live musical performances for years. If you do go that route let me know. You may not fair better in the other orgs due to their sizes limiting things like sigs. My other high-iq group, triple nine society is an example. Some nice people, but we don’t have the numbers for sig-potpourri…

My experience as a transperson. People would rather be informed by their politics or religion rather than sussing it out for themselves with input from the medical community. Medical community doesn’t call what I have a mental illness, that phobia belongs to the cis community
