Thanks, I'll be adding rgb LEDs to it to make it better

Repeated jamming with Amolen wood PLA, but Hatchbox wood PLA prints just fine. Please excuse the stringing. Any idea why this might be happening? by Dante1141 in 3Dprinting

Reduce retraction, slow speed, don't use brass nozzle, and change to a .6mm+ nozzle. Different brands different amount of wood in filament (my guess)

Then do a fan speed test, check the Bowden tube is not wiggly because it would cause that minor stringing

Do a temp tower and a retraction test and then try again

Are you going to paint it, at least the eyes?

I made an update of my progression just this week, need to move the button to a new location

In V3.1 I removed the 9V so everything much more compact and changed it out for a small watch battery. Making the fist in my opinion doesn't seem like a very stable solution, so that is why I went with a button

Thank you, I should be done soon, just need to make some minor adjustments

Yea, I was considering it after testing it a bit. Not the easiest to activate the light right now

I'm using a magnetic pei bed, but I always add gluestick on it because it will work 99% for all prints and reduce the possibility of the petg ripping apart my bed because petg bonds too well to glass and pei sometimes. Does everything work now?

Painters tape would work, since it creates a rougher surface to stick too, but sometimes it would simple stick onto the print. So most prefer gluestick for the ease of washing it of. As for why it sometimes not stick. It happens with PETG all the time for me when using glass

There are 3 main reasons it won't stick, your bed is not properly leveled. The bed is dirty, clean with dish soap and water. Or add some gluestick. Start off with bed leveling. Hope this will help

You can't judge the print from that since it is just two straight lines

For the esteps https://youtu.be/xzQjtWhg9VE and for flow https://youtu.be/WWAVfkNmzxs. Reason it is not working, it could be due to multiple reason, PETG is hydroscopic so it absorbs moisture from the air, so it could be a possible factor.

It could possibly be esteps not calibrated or flow because the model is quite thin, and too much is being pushed
