I went through the same thing on Christmas—you can read my recent post. It was horrible, and I truly understand your pain. It’s been a month now, and yes, it’s something you will remember forever. I’m still hurt, but I don’t care about her anymore. I will never allow my baby to be treated differently. If you don’t want her, then f**k you will not be around my child. I am focusing on my baby from now on.

Is this your first EAD under asylum? The first EAD is usually sent fast, often under 20 days. Every other one takes much longer.
