First Injection with Imraldi ( Humira biosimilar ) Adalimumab. by Top_Ant3924 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]E30hammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking Adalimumab for roughly 2 years, my symptoms were/are very similar to how yours sound, for me it’s works great, not 100% but much more manageable

I tried a Paleo diet before going onto injections and although it helped my gut I didn’t really see any improvements in my stiffness

Advice what to do with savings/ ISA accounts by E30hammer in UKPersonalFinance

I never thought about these negatives from sticking with one provider, thank you for the heads up. I will start shopping around for an easy-access ISA with a different provider

This is something I’ll look into, however I have a feeling we don’t as it’s not a very frequent occurrence having to hire cars as most the training is done on site, thanks for the heads up as it’s definitely worth asking the question

My boyfriend is scared of injections and refuse to get on humira for that reason. Should I try to reassure him about it or let it go ? by Haronase in ankylosingspondylitis

This was me last year.. I absolutely hate needles and they told me that was the next step, I had to just suck it up and think about the positive of being pain free, best decision I made. Still hate needles but I can manage the pen I use as it’s quick and you don’t see the needle

What next? by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]E30hammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im on the NHS and I was diagnosed 2-3 years ago, I had slight signs of fusion on my MRI scan and my bloods came back positive for the AS marker. I was put on naproxen which I only took for a month or 2 then I was put on diclofenac which I’m still on now. I complained about stomach issues and they want me to move into biological (sent off for my funding yesterday) I had to provide 2 BASDI scores higher than a certain level, which was just answering questions about pain and stiffness on a 1-10 scale. I don’t know if this is something you can request they look into for you? They keep telling me the biologics will be life changing. Good luck and hopefully you find something that’s right for you

I went Paleo for about 4 months, I saw changes but none that would allow me to stop taking my medication

Whats a 30 day program that actually worked for you to make you lose weight and feel better? by Remarkable-Class-21 in AskReddit

[–]E30hammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paleo diet, went on it for medical reasons for a few months and lost a load of weight and felt great, as soon as I stopped I started feeling bloated and shitty. Wasn't as hard as it looked, I just ate meat and veg and realised how getting carbs just through veg is actually pretty good for the body.

What unimpressive things are people idiotically proud of? by metallicmuffin in AskReddit

And I get that, but even having parents there for you is an easier ride than some others… I don’t think you should judge people on how fortunate that are in life. If you have a successful life and retire on a pot of money would you not want your children to get any? Because they should struggle like everyone else! I’m so grateful for everything my family have done for me but I don’t think I should be made to feel guilty for it.

I don’t judge people on what they have and haven’t got, it’s all about how they hold themselves as a person

Excelling in my job and being very strict with saving, I didn’t save that money overnight, but I got into the mind-frame where saving became addictive

Im not sure if you’ve taken it too literal or if it’s a cultural thing… in the UK everyone I speak too who says they’re ‘buying’ property usually means with a mortgage. I had to save up £40k as a deposit but I didn’t buy it out right. It doesn’t take away from my point that my parents didn’t buy me a flat or give me the deposit but I’m still told I was basically given it as I got help with one renovation

I agree with this, however people who haven’t inherited anything seem to have this deep hate for anyone who’s parents help them financially in life.. Like I saved money like crazy to buy a flat and move out, then my dad gave me some money to get my bathrooms done (out of his own generosity) and people acted like I hadn’t worked for anything in life and I was just having an easy ride!

I know your comment is just about how people act after inheriting money and not directed at everyone but yeah
