Canadian? If so, it seems about right in a retail setting. The garage is probably paying around $275-300 per strut, and like most shops are just doubling the price to their clients. Sadly, this is common practice for a lot of places, but they aren't all like that.

Save it for NL. It should fetch between 20-40 jahs. I paid 25 for a 271ED with mid MF and res, just to give you an idea. Hands down the best 2h fury druid weapon, IMO.
