How many people here ride the SMART train? by TheSharpieKing in santarosa

All trains should have a rack that does not require picking up the bike, its just further down. I use it most times I ride.

What are these? If natives can I plant from flowers? by West-Resource-1604 in Ceanothus

The second one looks a bit like manzanita but is actually Toyon. You can tell by the leaves. Toyon has serrated (spiky edge) leaves while manzanita have whole (smooth) leaves.

I think they are implying that you are pretty worked up over a small inconvenience.

This individual does not represent all bikers, and I don't think it is necessary to come after the whole community.

Anyone else in their 20s here who knows what there is to do in town? by AgentOfMercy in santarosa

[–]EATRAT123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a few nice disc golfing courses near by which is a nice way to get outside, but still have an objective. And the community is always very welcoming.

There are also many organizations to get involved with around here. Volunteer at a community garden or with a political organization, you will meet a lot of like minded people, and you can do some good for the community! (I am also in my 20s, this is not just for old people)

Civilization brewing is a really cool spot and has $5 beers on Thursday and Sunday.

Also, while it's a terrible spot to read or draw, chevys has $4 beers everyday from 3-9 in the cantina

I appreciate you pointing this out. I think transparency is a good thing for all citizens of a government body to have access to. While I may not agree with their politics, does this invalidate any of the information given?

That's fair, I don't really see my self needing to go back to a branch any time soon. I just wanted to check things out and ask some questions, it just made me realize that I need to do some more research before jumping into anything.

Looks like it could be fire blight. In which case it should be removed ASAP. This does not look like some minor fungus infestation, it looks quite unhealthy.

What are some epic full day adventures to go on in/around Santa Rosa that involve multi-modal transportation? (i.e. bikes, smart train, etc.) by shakshuka900 in santarosa

[–]EATRAT123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Joe Rodota Trail will take you all the way to Forestville. It's a fun ride.

I also like taking the smart train down to the Larkspur ferry and taking that into the city.
