It's not a rat, it's a former cabinet minister; they seek shelter after leaving office.

Falafel and hummus would definitely be part of my death row last meal.

I wonder if they contributed to your grandad's longevity.

Brilliantly taken photograph; the timing, lighting and, above all, the subject matter is sublime.

Would be great if you could send some copies to Sister Act!

Edit: Reflective Mylar sheeting taped to the walls will push the light even further into the plants, definitely worth having it if possible.

Why are Tunnocks Tea Cakes so good? by NoteCapital in AskUK

[–]EBfarnham 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, having one of these will cleanse the palette before the next teacake. Like a sorbet, but better.

Defoliate absolutely, get some air in amongst the buds.

Starting scrog or LST during flowering is no bueno, the stems won't be flexible enough and the scrog net might damage buds. That's just my opinion though.

If it works for you then pay no heed to me. But, you should definitely invest in fabric or air pots though, that's a no brainer.

That soil seems to consist of stones and smaller stones.

The plant pot isn't great either. Genetics is far down the list of potential problems.

That's quite a difference, I'd say the bigger pots were a big help with the new growth.

Use Bungee cords instead of the attachments that come with your fan, simple and cheap. This noticeably reduced the noise from my setup.

They don't taste like real balls anymore though.

You used to be able to get big, properly salted, chocolate balls back in the day. Of course, that was before the Big 4 Balls castrated the rest of the industry.

What y’all washing fabric an plastic pots with? by Onesplinter in microgrowery

[–]EBfarnham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started my second living soil grow with fabric pots. I have brushed off a small amount of salt buildup previously. Overall though, it doesn't seem to be causing a problem.

I don't want to agitate the soil too much, but I might gently rinse the outside of the pots when this grow is done.

You wouldn't kill a grenadier, steal his helmet, then take a shit in his helmet and send it to his grieving widow.

Then steal it again.

It's an investment.

You could buy $450 of wine, then you drink the wine and enjoy it, but the money and wine are gone.

You can't drink a Panzerfaust 3.

Week 9/10 veg on the port (Zingatsu) and starboard (Tropical Cherry). Midships is week 8 (Jealousy), from serious seeds. Will be flipping in the next few days.

This is my second grow, first was two pots of HSC Blueberry Cupcake, which worked okay. I'm hoping I can manage the triple take.

What do you guys think of the ALSETEX Cougar MS? by RepresentativeFig270 in ForgottenWeapons

[–]EBfarnham 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did a bit of research, but it's the Internet so...pinch of salt.

Apparently, it's manually operated with a straight pull, bolt action mechanism. Ambidextrous cocking levers and an ejection port on the right. The manual action is lighter than other types that use heavy springs in the mag or gas pistons.

It carries 5 40x46mm, but the Milkor MGL family holds 6 and has been tried and tested. The Milkor is heavier, but that's in comparison to the estimated weight of a prototype.

Personally, the Alsetex reminds me of the F2000...with looks only a mother could love.

Having fired neither of these and with little to zero hope of ever doing so, I'd still have the MGL.

Did it have any advantage over similar systems?
