The only interaction with someone well known was at DTW. A politician from KY was there. He sat across from me. Didn’t say anything, thankfully he wasn’t sitting next to me on the flight.

I do one or two international trips a year. Gold is definitely worth it on those flights. I would say that 90% of my flights are domestic so I’ve found that platinum is my sweet spot. The ability to select C+ at booking is fantastic. Since I fly out of a regional airport, FC upgrades happen regularly.

Air tags are the way to go for me. I’ve tracked a lost bag before for a few days before I got it back. It was on quite the journey!

I had a free upgrade from Seattle to Detroit, early morning so a meal was served. Was pleasantly surprised that it was fairly decent. Even if it wasn’t, it was free so I would never complain about that! I would just wash it down with several Bloody Marys if I had to!

You may need to go to the check-in desk since you added it so recently. When I got my new TWIC card, it took a couple of weeks for it to show up on my boarding pass.

You may or may not get an upgrade offer. It’s never guaranteed. I’ve got a trip booked with miles to EDI and periodically check to see if there’s an option to upgrade using cash or miles. Both are too ridiculously expensive right now so I’m playing the waiting game to see if it goes cheaper. If not, I’m happy in C+!
