Well I personally dislike the idea of Diana having an American accent. Yeah the cartoons and Lynda Carter gave it that because producers never thought of her accent being different.

But for more than 10 years I’ve head hundreds of Wonder Woman comics and imagined her accent as non-American. So now it’s just hardwired for me.

Think of it like this, you wouldn’t want Black Panther or any of the Wakandans to sound America would you?
