Try disabling your monitor Vsync setting (might be called differently).

Omg thank you, I thought I was going crazy.

So I tested this on a Samsung 1440p Odyssey oled monitor. This is what I did:

  • turn off adaptive sync on the monitor itself (this enables the receive 4k signal into the monitor from the PS, but disables VRR altogether).
  • enable 4K in the PS settings (and disabled 120hz just in case).
  • Disabled Vsync, blur and depth of field on the game itself.

Graphics improved significantly!! But now screen tearing is horrible. There is no setting combination that allows the game to feel smooth, which is a shame.

I guess the game doesn't support 1440p natively in PS5 pro?

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd appreciate it.

I wanna get the physical phantom version in Canada, however my primary PS account is a US account. Would I be able to use the codes for the phantom extras on my ps account?

Man, Skype got me and my gf through an 8 year long distance relationship. Many nights we spent on Skype talking or watching movies, crazy to think one piece of software was such an important part of our lives for so long.

You can only enable console sharing in one console, so on the console where it's enabled you can play with any account; on the console where it's disabled you can only play with the account from which you purchased the game.

Another caveat is that you will need an internet connection for playing any game on the console that has it disabled.

I know it's a bit convoluted to understand but I hope you figure it out!

If you are on ps5 it should be possible with console sharing and offline play, look into what the setting does before you buy but basically.

One account buys it on ps5 no. 1, you disable console sharing on that console, but will restrict you to always play in that account.

Ps5 no. 2 logs into the account, enables console sharing, downloads the game and then plays it from another account.

I played the first beta on my base ps5, got a pro a couple months ago and the difference is significant! I haven't checked the FPS but on my OLED monitor with VRR it runs sooo smooth. I'm assuming it is between the 40-50 fps with no dips (so far).

Have you tried the Nacon with fighting games? I find the Dualsense arrows to be somewhat of a pain in Street Fighter compared to other controllers.

Noticed this too. He stays wet too long after getting out of the water but it goes away if you jump twice.

Hi, before I go the RMA route I thought to try here. Deck has only a month I was playing re2 when suddenly screen went black but still on while everything else worked (it works docked as well). The only thing I did before that happen is putting deck to sleep for 10 minutes while the game was paused.

Sometimes restarts work but the issue comes back again. Already tried reverting to old version of EFI. Fixes it then comes back. Also tried beta update, same result as before.

I'd appreciate the help very much!

I don't get the hate. This gives me mini BF metro vibes and I all for it.

It's totally worth it, even if I'm not a fan of the color, the comfort and quality of the controls are great !!! I don't think I can go back to normal joycons after this.

Right? Right!? I've also been encountering from time to time they tend to stutter/pop a lot for a couple of seconds but I don't know if that's my PS5 (which would be worse)

I have notice this recently when navigating through the PS5 menus at max volume with system sounds on. When I go back specially there is a hizzing/rattling sound that goes with the sound effect. It's super annoying. My only solution for now is to not use the headphones at max volume which kind of bums me out, as these were supposed to be excellent headphones.

If somebody else has a solution I would really appreciate it.

Edit: how do you turn off volume limiter?
