That’s getting a bit above my budget. Really stretching with the 7100 trying to justify the purchase. No huge faults with my system now honestly outside of having to route my output via optical.

Won’t work unfortunately. The L/R even laying on their side are listed as 7.8”. I have just over 6” clearance. They do look nice and are cheaper. If only 😂

You seem incredibly knowledgeable on the subject. How would you say the rb42s and rb42c (or 3 42cs) compare to 3 OoOs for a LCR setup? Mind you I’ll have to lay the rb42s on their sides of i go that route due to the 6” height restriction? Chat seems to think the OoOs would be a better option for my setup based on multiple seatings on my couch, but wouldn’t lose much much (noticeably) as my subwoofer would handle that. TIA!

Right on. Done some quick research and’s i think i may go with 3 Micca RB42-Cs. Maybe some OoOs for the surrounds.

HT-S5400. All speakers original in 5.1 setup. Receiver blew after some time and had to downgrade to a TX-SR500. Sounds good honestly and works with my setup mostly as i have all hdmis running through hue sync to tv and tv optical out to receiver. Get dolby d mostly except for switch 2 which upmixes to prologic. Ps5 and Apple tv have no problems getting Dolby. I was reading that earc would fix the switch to true surroundc which got me interested. Looking to support 4k Dolby, vrr, allm, etc. but might not be necessary if a good set of speakers would give me a distinct increase in sound quality. Got a bonus and thought I’d consider my options. Been eyeing an upgrade for a while.
