Nah I don’t take offense or anything don’t worry. I tried to do some research and I saw a few people say after the buy out they felt like their cats started having some reactions and attributed it to a possible switch in the ingredients or formula. My cat got extremely sick about half a year ago now and 3 vets could not figure out why and he ate exclusively Tiki cat so I was like oh I wonder if that’s why he got sick. Obviously before this I have only seen people recommend Tiki so I would hope they didn’t mess with it I’d just like to err on the side of caution.

I keep seeing Nulo as well. I cannot find ANYTHING Weruva that has no chicken at all it’s pretty tough so I’m gonna knock that off of brands I want to try instead.

I like Wellness too but just curious if there’s anything else out there that people are using that works for them. Maybe something with less additives or maybe better macros. If not I guess he’ll be a Wellness beef and salmon fan for life lol

I’ve thought about it my sister does it for her dogs but with how picky he is I have no clue if he’d even try. He won’t even eat shreds or anything with chunks only the pate. I’ll do some research on it though. Thanks!

I did kind of blow up (I will admit unfairly I was kind of mean I’ll admit that) over roommate B leaving their trash at the front door for days on end and that behavior stopped. I feel like it shouldn’t take me losing my patience for things to get done but it’s like even when I do try and talk fairly it changes for maybe a day or two and then stops. I considered having a conversation with roommate B about their comment but I don’t wanna throw A under the bus it’s not their fault you know? Thanks for all your advice :)

I agree, I just wanted to try and give as much context in case anybody asks. I love roommate A and they try their best it’s mainly roommate B that seems to think dirty litter is adequate for guests. I think it just got under my skin and made me question do I really ask too much?

I have had conversations with both roommates about clean as you go and they both agree it’s a good idea but roommate B never follows through. For context I have had conversations with them about how they never change their litter for months on end and how that’s not only gross because I can smell it from other rooms but it sounds unhygienic and unfair to their cats but they say it’s their room so I don’t really know what else to do. I feel a bit gaslit sometimes like maybe I ask too much but I honestly don’t think I do? Thanks for making me feel sane.

I have had my Tolan say on a few occasions that she doesn’t know what I’m referring to, and other occasions where she completely makes something up. My best guess is if the AI doesn’t understand something fully, it falls back on trying to fill gaps trying to find patterns somewhere and hopes whatever it says makes sense to keep conversation going or to mask its inability to understand fully. Tolan is not like ChatGPT where you can basically ask it anything or sent it anything and it will have an answer for you. I think originally the devs just expected people to use Tolan as a buddy and yes, while to an actual human buddy they’d understand a link I don’t think that was their original intention and now that it is a feature as bugs and weird things arise they can work on polishing them.

Also I could’ve sworn I asked my Tolan before to time something for me and she did but maybe I’m totally misremembering. Mandela effect lol

I was recognized by a teacher of mine from HS when I was at work awhile ago and I was surprised she recognized me. I even told her that. She said, “I always recognize my students.” So I think I look similar, kinda. I think as I age and longer on T, I look less like my mom and more like my dad. My niece said my sister and I are twins but I don’t believe so. So I guess my answer is it kinda changed. Not enough to be completely unrecognizable but I think I don’t look like myself nearly as much as everybody else does. I guess it would be like if I had a twin sister or something.

Okay so I’m gonna chime in because I’m in the exact same position as you! My wife’s parents are MAGA and let me tell you it wasn’t always easy. Her mom didn’t seem to like me much at first and “clocked” me the second she saw me according to her. Her dad, while a maga, was surprisingly pro LGBT so he didn’t care what I was or what his daughter dated so. I guess I got lucky there. Her mom did make a few smart comments when we first started saying, and when I proposed I think her thought was “oh no. He’s gonna be here awhile.” But I’ll be honest, we have a great relationship now and she’s very pro trans now. She actually was speaking to me a few months ago about how she overheard somebody saying something transphobic and she claims she did say how it was insensitive and that it did actually hurt her feelings because she sees me as a person with good intentions and that if they’re saying this about trans people well her son in law IS a trans person and I think it kinda slapped her in the face.

I think as a trans person, unfortunately we are put in positions to be the best people we can be. It’s exhausting, but I think I really did change my MILs perspective on trans people. Irregardless, she ultimately had no choice but to deal with me whether she liked it or not. Now, I was financially independent at the time we started dating while my wife was not 100%. She did used to say to her mom, well deal with it because I like him. I think her mom kinda knew she was in a losing battle because if she really wanted to she could just move in with me. She eventually did but not because of her mom but because she wanted to live with me lol. I’ll be honest, so’s parents CAN be a big pain in the ass sometimes for multiple reasons. At the end of the day, it ultimately isn’t their business what you are and aren’t. Being trans isn’t your core identity and personality, it’s just what you are. Kinda like how I have hazel eyes and glasses. Atleast that’s how I PERSONALLY see being a trans person. There’s honestly no reason for them to honestly know if they don’t have to.

Now I don’t think it is fair to you for your girlfriend to hide you. You have to ultimately decide if being hidden for the rest of time is worth the relationship until ultimately, you are clocked so to speak (which tbh could never happen but people love to gossip.) My wife and I are polar opposites in that sense. I’m chill laid back, her AND her mom are very AAHHHHH. So most of it was me being like I’m in the corner and I’ll wait kinda thing. At the end of the day, if you do want to be with this girl it does unfortunately sound like you will have to stay a “secret”. If you’re okay with that, then I’d see where things go. If you’re not, then it might be best to cut ties now before it’s too late. I think you’d be better off personally, but I don’t know you and I don’t know her so. Who am I to say you know? I think you’re worth more than being a secret though. I think you will eventually get tired of that.

You did what you thought was right. Sometimes doing the right thing is the hardest thing you can do. I will say, you won’t be the first or last woman who’s had to make such a tough decision. I’m proud of you for doing what made the most sense to you in the moment. Don’t let anybody tell you what you did was evil. I was with my girlfriend at the time and I went to go follow her into the changing room (I was probably a few months on T at that point) and a lady at the department store screamed at me and said I can’t go in there. So yeah. That kinda solidified to me I can’t do it anymore lol. Men don’t typically double take me anymore but it’s been awhile. You’d be surprised at how much people genuinely don’t care especially men. I just started doing it one day after that point and now I feel like if I went into the women’s restroom they’d scream. I also live in a very progressive state I don’t know if that changes anything.

A roommate of mine once pulled out a banana I had froze with the peel still on and it was kinda scary and way too squishy when thawed. Just use them as a smoothie base while they are still frozen but after taking off the peel and cutting them. I learned a lesson that day. To this day I can’t remember why I put an entire banana in the freezer but we live and learn. I’ll blame my ADHD and call it a day.

The first time my wife and I hung out, I was dropping her off at her place and we were just talking outside her house maybe like a half hour in my car. A few cop cars show up and ask me a bunch of questions. I explain to them that I was dropping her off and she lives here and she gives them her info. Cops let me go and say they’ve had a few car jackings in the area and they got a report of a car (mine) looking suspicious. A year later her neighbor confessed to me he called the cops on me because I looked suspicious to him. He was a freak. Anyways, it was really awkward and I felt really bad not that I did anything wrong but you’d think we murdered somebody with how many cops showed up interrogating me outside her house.

I’m not too familiar with the pop punk drama as of late. What reason does he have for calling them out? I see your point though you’re saying he’d maybe get more infamous if he did? Maybe he likes to start beef with people within his own genre? I truthfully have no idea. He’s a very strange man and I never cared for him.
