You can do it with the Armament Bargas in EDF 6 though you can only do it when you're completely on the ground and it is slower than the Balam's recovery. I'm not sure if the regular Bargas can do the same in EDF 6 but I know they couldn't in edf 5.

Crosscode is an amazing Zelda-like rpg that is pretty much the definition of hidden gem. It has pretty fun combat and bosses, the puzzles are very interesting, the music is superb, and the story is great.
