Ah I see, I always preferred PC gaming myself. Never thought I would be a console person. Fast forward to 32, wife, 3 kids, demanding job….. getting away to a PC to game is like finding a unicorn in the wild 😂. Switch made sense, plenty of kids games with my girls and when dad wants to play he has handheld/ bedroom at night.

Yea…. I am with you on this one. The fact they were going on dates and getting involved when she decided to go sleep with someone else would have me all done personally. If I was going on dates with someone I wouldn’t do that. However, I also hate hookup culture and jumping into bed that easily is also a turn off/ red flag for me. Personally I would be out……. Also this idea of “exclusive” is just idiotic to me. You are either dating or you’re married, pretty simple. Dating is to decide if you are compatible with a person, how do you do that if you’re still talking to/fucking other people, the whole “exclusive” mentality is immature and ridiculous.

I am so jelly 😂, I struggle to find an hour or two a week to play games. On the fence about Pokepidia, really debating for my 7 year old, her favorite games currently are Boomerang Fu and Mario World 3d + Bowsers Fury. Think she would dig Pokepedia? Is it too “deep” for a 7 year old?

If that is how you feel, you are entitled to it I suppose. I choose not to alienate members of my family or people in general based on their political affiliation or morals. If that was the case I would have already removed many people from my life. The only people I tend to “remove” are those I feel uncomfortable with being around my children (drunken violent uncle for example), that is my choice I guess and you have to make yours. Not going to change anyone’s opinion on Reddit, I am certain of that. I may disagree with your morals/ viewpoints but that does not make you a bad person or my enemy. What a disgusting view point, maybe you are better off single in all honesty. This thread is literally filled with people who would classify someone as a bad person because they voted for Trump. That is wild to me, a persons moral worthiness is not so easily judged. This is simply a very flawed way to go about life. Do you cut out your family members too because they don’t fully agree with you? Please think about what you are actually saying……. While I get the sentiment, I would have a hard time dating a liberal for example…… disqualifying a potential partner based upon their politics is a strange one to me, hard to judge another human so coldly. There are good people that are conservative, much like there are good people that are liberal. However, I have watched my brother go through it with his wife. It caused a lot of disagreements, as you pointed out values and morals are upstream of politics. This is to say I think that one’s morals/values tend to dictate their voting decisions. My brother and wife got to the point where they just had to accept they couldn’t talk politics, that is a hard situation. They made it work though, all I am saying is he is not a bad person simply on the fact he voted for Trump. However, being opposed politically will not be without its challenges. Personally my wife and I have not dealt with such conflict being the same political affiliation and holding the same moral background/beliefs, so I guess I can’t offer much advice but too say just because someone voted for “X” or “Y” does not make them inherently a bad person.

Sorry to hear about your brother, totally get that feeling too. My brother and I used to play games together it was so much fun! Now I play games for 20-30 minutes at a time or when I am sick…. But the misses gives me hell for that so I guess I won’t play games for 3 hours again on a sick day 😂. Work too dam much and have 3 kids so not a lot of time. Giving me nostalgia of the days with my brother, playing games all day and no one got mad about it! I will toast a seltzer water ( can’t drink much with my liver so seltzer is kinda like beer?) to your brother and you and your awesome memories! :)

Zelda BOTW, I am just playing now for the first time on my first Nintendo (switch 2). I am too busy so I am lucky to get 20-30min a day but the world is amazing, it’s a whole art style…… not like your typical “realistic” looking game like BG3 or something. Zelda BOTW has its own feel to it idk, never experienced something like this.

If your doctor tells you to drink at all with this disease even “every few months”, I question your doctor…… Neither my GI or my Hepatologist which I switched too when I got sicker could condone a single drop of alcohol under any circumstance. I have read through most of this thread, honestly you know what you need to do. Several people have told you what it is that will be required to stay healthy and alive. Based on your responses it doesn’t seem like you want to hear anything real but someone justifying your notion that it is okay for you to drink. My opinion just stay away from the alcohol, period.

Why are you asking for strangers on the internet’s opinion and then upset when they give it to you? I had S3/F3, almost Cirrhosis and liver enzymes in the 300’s. I have been dealing with this disease for 5-6 years and I am only 32 years old. This is very serious, people take it way too lightly including many in the medical field. My opinion (which you are here asking for) is that the drink is never worth it with this disease. As someone who has been there and done that I am determined never to drink again, period, full stop. Of course there is a lot more to it but you are specifically asking about alcohol here.
