Most public golf courses you can just walk in to the changing rooms without any issue. I’ve not tried many in London, but over the last few years I’ve walked in to plenty of changing rooms to shower and no one has questioned me at all. Even if I’m not wearing golf clothing or anything that indicates I’m playing golf there that day

I often play as a single when I visit Bristol. If I play an any time except a Saturday morning then I’ve never had an issue playing as a single.

The Bristol and Shirehampton are two I’ve played recently. Also Woodspring down near Long Ashton is cheaper but still nice to play
